It was a routine takeoff for Emery Worldwide Flight 17, a domestic cargo plane making its way to Ohio, on February 16, 2000. Seconds later, that illusion was shattered as the plane began to violently tilt and rotate.

The report started that the crash of Emery Worldwide Flight 17 was Caused By The Detachment Of The Right Elevator Control Tab.
Mather is an old air force base converted into an air cargo terminal. Back in 2000 it was surrounded by mostly industrial business like the junk yard. Today there is a residential development between the air port and where the plane crashed.
