  1. Man, that whole Katrina thing was effed up. I felt SO BAD for all those people stuck inside that arena – I can't imagine having to go through that. Just horrific and I truly hope that the victims have found new homes, new neighborhoods, and keep the old friendships while new ones are made. That's what life's about anyway, right? Being good to other people and treat them like you want to be treated. Yeah, that's fairly simple and straight forward.

  2. you don't want the earthquake that will shake the world, L. for once that earthquake hits, it will be enough to make even the earth totter on its axis.

  3. So, I learned recently that right after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami struck Japan, the Yakuza actually stepped in and helped people out. They sent food, water, blankets and toiletries to people throughout the region.

  5. I've posted this on another video but I have been through a tropical storm, tornadoes, and an earthquake. By far tornadoes for me are the scariest thing to go through for me. I've been through 4 of them and side swiped by a few. Scary doesn't even describe it.

  6. Reports of Yellowstone being a super volcano have been circulating for a few yrs now. Estimated to take out the entire state it's in in the explosion as well as damage surrounding states, but the damage could be Worldwide with corresponding earthquakes, tsunamis and ash clouds.

  7. I live in Trinidad and Tobago, apparently we're 23 or 24 yrs overdue for a big one. I think it was linked to earthquakes in Chile where we always get the same time as Chile and we were both overdue, but a few yrs ago Chile got theirs and we were waiting and preparing for ours but it never came so we're still waiting and hoping for it not to come. There's supposed to be a fault running right through us I think and that's not comforting.

  8. I mean, I’ve never been through an earthquake, but I have been through the remnants of a few hurricanes up north. I lived in Pittsburgh when hurricane Ivan blew through the area. I was pretty young when it happened, but I remember hearing a massive tree in our neighbor’s yard being blown over, and a few years later, I realized that there was major flooding in the downtown area. That was probably the scariest natural disaster I’ve been through.

  9. My husband and I have been in several Tornadoes. 1 violent one in Fritch TX a F5 took out 1/2 the town we had 1 busted window. Blessed for sure. We're right in mid 🌪 alley

  13. There probably was no warning. I've heard it's very hard to track tornadoes since they are so random and pop up fast. Plus how many tornadoes do you see in Miami?!

  14. Oh I remember one day when I was little we were at Walmart and there was this announcement where we had to stay in the store because the weather was bad and that a tornado was near by it scared me bad I hated them ever since

  16. the winter storm that hit us in texas is the 2nd worst natural disaster i've been in (in terms of personal impact). the worst was tropical storm charley that hit texas in 1998
what's the worst you've guys been in?

  17. I think the Greenberg or the 2011 Moore Oklahoma tornadoes were much more destructive than the Miami tornado. There’s also the El Reno tornado which grew to be two and a half miles wide.

  18. Depending on who you talk to geologist historians, we are overdue for an earthquake in a couple of places. One of them being part of the San Andreas Fault. That is overdue to have gone off as a earthquake. That's just off the top of my head.
