As most of us know by now, there are levels to fighting. However, that knowledge isn’t as common as one would expect at this point. With how much MMA has exploded over the past few years, most people know just how skilled professional fighters are.
However, there are still a select few that are roaming the streets with a chip on their shoulder thinking that they can smoke two packs of cigarettes, eat a rotisserie chicken and play Call of Duty all day and somehow, they can still out strike a person who has been doing muay Thai for the past 12 years. Some call it bold, but most of us call it stupid.
In this video, we’ll be taking a closer look at instances where challengers, be it underprepared or not prepared at all, challenge a bit higher than their pay grade and get humbled in the process. Here are trained fighters vs street thugs

I have trained since I was 6yrs old, I got the bug for all forms of martial arts because of watching the karate kid 😂, from there I did kempo karate, boxing, jujitsu, Muay Thai. I consider myself and extremely average fighter, I have some skill but I’m not proficient by any means, for the average person to walk into a gym/dojo and think they have a chance is absolutely insane. When I first took boxing lessons my coach made me spar with a golden gloves champ that was 4 years younger than me and half my size, I was like this isn’t fair I’m way bigger, he hit me so fast and so hard I remember it to this day and that was 25 years ago. Some of these men/women that do this are extremely talented and for anyone to come off the street and challenge them is just insane, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face, and I can tell you from experience, when the punch comes so fast you never saw them move, you should bow down and accept the defeat

Ive dabbled in a few things. Boxing was by far the most brutal. Much respect to all arts, but boxers are tough as nails.

Yes its true. You have boxing rings surrounded by outdoor/open air bars where drunks talk scrap then get their butts handed go them by quiet and humble locals.
I knew a guy named Winston Scott. He had no martial arts training. He was clearly a thug. From Toronto Ontario.
Yet this guy beat every martial artist he ever faced in combat.
Rather readily in fact.
The glorious martial artists who fought Winston usually ended up knocked out cold.
Some without their teeth.
Also
The biblical man ‘’’samson’’’had no martial arts training.
Technically Samson was only a street thug.
With no training in fighting.
And Samson defeated armies consisting of men bigger then Andre the giant by himself.
In wars that usually only lasted a few hours.
The survivors of the giant armies that fought Samson usually ran in terror and fear for their lives after watching Samson dance circles around them.
And kill many of their fellow soldiers and comrades

5:22 True. Been there, done that. I was tested outside of the ring, and as a result my Thai opponent went easy on me. However, I had to give up after 2 rounds. I almost had to vomit.

I was in Phú Quốc Vietnam 2 weeks ago. I was on an island tour. There was this old wiry dude with cauliflower ears, and lots of scars. He was laid back and happy-go-lucky. I talked a bit with him practicing my Vietnamese. Super cool dude.
When we got to our dinner venue, a big young aussie was picking on him. This kid was a pretty boy. Perfect face, perfect skin, big bulky gym build. The old guy spoke limited English and wasn't very humored by the kid being disrespectful.
I pulled the kid aside and asked him what he was doing, and he said something like, just a bit of fun. I said it's not gonna be fun when that old man takes you apart and strangles you with your intestines. He said, you think he could? Incredulously. I looked him dead in the eyes and said, easily, without breaking a sweat. Do you know who he is? He asked. I said not specifically, but I know how badass acts and what it looks like. You ain’t the badass here. Luckily for him, he slowed his roll.
A man you have a disagreement with that’s not trained does not equal thug regardless of skin color stop with these captions. It’s trained fighter vs untrained fighter
Taking martial arts to be good at fighting is like learning the cheat codes to win at video games. These guys aren't 'tough' or 'good fighters'.
