  1. I bought a 2017 used Versa last year for my grandson. It is smoking when starting up, and using about as much gas as oil every few days you have to put oil in it.

  2. I'm 13 and learning how to drive and I've found out there is a sport mode on the gear shifter (all I can say was that one tap on gas = 20 MPH)

  3. 2014 Versa SE
    1) Transmission runs high RPM and fails to shift – They settled a law suit over this, but did not recall. I was S.O.L. and had to replace the transmission
    2) Electric door locks continue to fail – Had mine replace 4 times while under warranty, but now have to unlock back doors manually
    3) Unusual wear on battery – 4 Batteries in 5 years

  4. Hello, I have a 2017 nissan versa and just today it kept turning off on me. My daughter was waiting in the car for me for about 30 minutes and the car was on with the ac running. The ac started to feel like it was not cooling. So I decided to drive the car down the road to see if it would make a difference. The car felt like it didn't wanna go at first but then it did and the ac cooled a bit better. Then later while stopped at a drive through, the car began to stall and turned off on me 4 times. I'd turn it on, it would turn off and the red light that said "brake" would turn on. Was able to drive home but now I'm afraid it's gonna turn off on me in traffic. Do you have any idea what this could be?

  5. 2018 versa note. I was driving to work and after the commute I was on the highway for about a km. Then my rpms wend down. I tried gas and 0 acceleration. Coasted to the right into the parking lot to a spot. Turned it off and it was better. Drove it multiple times in heavy snow storm that day. Driving home acceleration just stopped. Had to pull over and put hazards on. Shut off car and re start and worked fine again. 29000 kms on the car. Just bought used at 27500 km. This happend 2 times with the cannot accelerate gas doesn’t do anything just comes to a stop

  6. On my second Versa. My first one threw a rod at around 170k miles so junked it. This one has 115k and just had to put in a new clutch and a left rear wheel bearing. Needs a blower fan for the AC now. But all in all been a good little car.

  7. i bought a 2012 versa back in 2016 with 40 K milage. It run great till last year, when the milage was approaching 100K. One day it would not start – I had to replace the starter. Shortly after the engine light went off – had to replace sensors, all fluids and the catalytic converter. I just followed the mechanics advice at the local Meineke. Spent close to 5K last year for all those replacements. Not sure if it was worth of spending so much on a 10 years old car….

  8. EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR IS A PAIN IN THE ASS TO FIX! 🤬. IT TAKES A DAMN DAY JUST TO REPLACE THE CABIN FILTER! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  9. 2017 Nissan Versa driving on the highway and went to exit the highway and noticed my clutch pedal on my manual clutch was on the floor do I need to replace my clutch pedal cable? And is that very involved? I am a woman, I try to work on my car for financial reasons. Thank you

  10. Hey can you tell me how to take off the penals in order to replace the AC Temperature Control unit. The hot and cold knob in my car isn’t working!!!! It’s getting cold and I need to fix it but I’m on a budget

  11. I have a Nissan versa sv and I just started having issues with my rpms when driving at 65 mph it's staying at the number 2 I'm not sure if it's a speed sensor or even if it could be the timing chain

  12. I love the way you concisely, but thoroughly, cover so much, and get to the point!
Does the info in this video also apply to a 2015 Nissan Versa Note SV hatchback?
    Thanks!

  13. I bought a 2015 versa sv new while going through a divorce and starting a new business… CVT and almost 100k and no issues. I think the people complaining probably aren't in tune with their cars… I've owned over a 150 cars and before my divorce I drove a C5 Vette, Jag 3.0, Ram 1500 and a Lexus 350 and if you know how to drive without dragging the engine, jerking the trans, and take care of the maintenance, you'll be okay.

My little car runs like a top and gets over 30mpg city regularly!

It's been a good little car! SVT and all!

  14. I had problems with my 2017,, I hate I bought it.. The transmission has a recall, the radiator fan stop working, The shocks went out… and I bought it brand new. Only have 43,000… Will never buy another one.
