12. The bus driver never had the right to try and force the kid to give up their phone. The only I can think of where a bus driver would have the right to take the phone was if the phone was distracting the driver and preventing them from doing their job properly and therefore putting the kids at risk. This did not happen and it was completely unnecessary and unacceptable for the bus driver to do this. They should lose their job

The driver was right to pull over and stop, but not in this heat for 40 minutes.
