  1. And then there's people who put massive tractor tires and lift kits on their vehicles to drive over a patch of grass.

Respect to all the people driving city busses through Asia and the Amazon like they're military trucks like that last Zil.

  2. Does the first bus have a locking differential? When that back wheel gave out I thought it would just spin when he gunned it, but the other wheel grabbed hard and lifted it right out. Maybe the driver just got lucky? You'd think a lockable differential would be of some use considering how poor the traction is. I'm not sure if they use them or not. I would not have wanted to drive my rear wheel drive pickup on those roads, good way to get hurt !!!

Also that clip 4:00 where they're driving down a switchback is sped up, you can hear the voices. It's at least 2x speed. So, not realistic.

  8. of course there are simply outrageous scenes that many countries have to deal with, but people with short memories in the UK, forget we had much more severe winters during my teens in sixties and seventies. In fact when I became a mechanic in early seventies, I taught my customers how to get their vehicles out of snow and icy gutters. This was of course before the advent of front wheel drive cars, which most ae today. But even then. especially in 1963, the engines then would crack from frozen coolant, even with some antifreeze put in. English cars in the sixties just weren't built for the very severe winter we had then. I owned a Lambretta scooter then. Most days had to walk it home, as by 6pm in the evening, the roads became an ice rink and full of rock hard ice ruts, you had no chance to ride on that.

Since climate warming, most UK drivers today have not the skills we had to deal with icy winters. The South East where I lived was the most coldest part to live, since we regularly had Bitter Russian air that caused power cuts. although we had gas too, and paraffin heaters. in Nineties of rain more than sun in muddy areas like wet boot sales fields they were a problem, but man and machine had to work together, not burn your clutch out. a Deisal car has a much better chance of getting free, as seen in the scenes above, its all about a thing called " Torque"…:)
