🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. OH MY GOD IM SO HAPPYYYY !!! As a kiwi I was hoping you’d come down these ways and Aussie is good enough.. but Marmite is the way to go mate 😉 😂😂

  2. Don't even need to watch, No offence but for the 10,000,000,000 Time an Australian will get upset because you use Vegemite like Nutella and then complain it tastes bad… Literally i don't know what it is but seeing any video start with vegemite is fucking cringe for every Australian watching

  3. I am German and lived in the UK for years. I would never eat Vegemite not Marmite like this.

In usually mixed it up with butter on my cheese sandwich. Usually less Veg/Marmite and more butter 1:2.

  5. Yes, good idea to skip the restaurants and bistros; I can honestly say that the food is very normal here; similar to generic UK and USA menu items in similar eateries. Australian isn’t really known for any unique foods, so the indigenous cooking methods are really the only out-there foods to find here. I’ve never really thought about if it adds more or less to Australia as a whole; I guess I’ll learn through Sonny 🤔 seeing the turtle hunted like that, and finding out for the first time that it’s still allowed in the country that respects and protects is endangered wildlife to a frightening degree…wow, it’s a little saddening and shocking to me.

  6. A Flat White is "like a Latte with more milk"??? Sacralige! You've forgotten your roots Andrew! It's black coffee with a small amount of unfrothed (flat) milk.

  7. kinda bummed about the sea turtles but then again Aborigines Australians are so few that giving them special rights wouldn't put more pressure to the species as it is.

  8. that's not how we eat vegemite, idk what that cunt is on but you have it on toast with 2 parts butter to every 1 of vegemite.

  9. You gotta show him how to eat Vegemite the proper way. Spread plenty of butter on bread/toast n a smidge of Vegemite (depending how much Vegemite you like). 👌🏾
