  1. "You only need 36 techniques"….. That's why i do Catch Wrestling, there's hundreds of moves and techniques. BJJ is for people who can't comprehend more technical/logical ways of grappling.

  2. I seen bjj competition vid when a young guy gets a broken neck or something then became paraplegic. Someone commented got a dislocated shoulder casually sparring in a bjj club. Thanks but no thanks.
    I'll stick with karate.

  3. this is all bollocks it's only easy when you are bigger and stronger
for a start any jiu jitsu man laying on me is getting orbital bone crushing headbutts now what ? wheres your jiu jitsu ? you have a bleed on the brain now

  4. I used to really like these videos… but after what happened to Leandro Lo it really puts this type of thing into perspective and gives me mixed feelings on the whole thing

  5. First rule of a street fight is if you take a guy to the ground, stand back up, because that's how you get kicked in the head by the guys friend. Mounting an individual attacker or taking their back is just a bad idea on concrete or a hard surface

  6. If you're large like super to ultra heavyweight status then be more cautious becuase court may be bias against you. Be aware of your situation, if you can walk away then walk away. Only fight if you have absolutely no choice. If you're big people may end up seeing the actual criminal as the victim.

  7. I practice swords. I'm going to buy the Combatives on DVD. I looked for it on DVD a while back and couldn't find a trace! I used to own them and enjoyed watching them. Martial Arts are like the bread and butter of life.

  8. I’m big fan of this message. Just remember you can always increase force if the suspect resists. Only transition into a lower lever of control if for example the suspect has a weapon in the non-restrained limb. Then increase force to disable the suspect.

  9. We had someone sneak in and steal the pants of our 100 kg pro fighter from the locker room, once while we were training… Pretty daring stunt. We never caught the villain. Maybe that's for the best.

  10. Man you guys are going to get shot or stab someday. I mean that's good citizenship behaviour and thank the guy for that but you are buying lottery tickets everytime you do that. Knowing that, the guy is very brave for doing it.

  11. Is that legal? Chasing the guy down the next day and assaulting him after the fact? Could put our good guy in a bad legal position if the bad guy decides to press charges
