SINGAPORE – Welcome to Little India in Singapore and today we’re going on a food tour to eat some delicious Indian food – from some of the best chapatis and curry to a full banana leaf meal spread, to the best Indian hawker center street food court I can’t wait to take you on this amazing food tour.

There’s no doubt Singapore is home to an abundance of delicious Indian food – from street food to restaurants. And one of the best places to get started eating Indian food is within Singapore’s vibrant Little India. Here are the places I included in this video:

Azmi Restaurant (https://goo.gl/maps/AgvgMN1LGom1spAL6) Total price – $19 SGD ($13.87 USD) – You really come here to eat chapati along with tasty accompanying dishes. I had the keema, chicken masala, chickpeas, okra, and chicken fry, all of which was extremely delicious.

Neha Tiffin Centre – Tekka Centre, Singapore – Price – $2 SGD ($1.46 USD) – Unfortunately the place I had really wanted to go to try Indian style fried noodles was closed for the day. So I noticed many people eating dosa from a number of stalls – so that’s what I decided to try. At just $2 it’s one of the most affordable small meals in Singapore. Not the best dosa I’ve had, but overall quite good.

Shifa Drinks Corner – Tekka Centre, Singapore – While eating at Tekka Centre, I met the friendly guys from Shifa Drinks Corner who made a fresh sugar cane juice for me and wouldn’t accept payment. Please go support them when you’re here!

Gandhi Restaurant (https://goo.gl/maps/14M1gXffK9ArB8JC6) Little India, Singapore – Total price for 2 people – $29 SGD ($21.17 USD) – Finally to complete this Indian street food tour in Little India Singapore we went for a huge South Indian rice and curry meal at Gandhi Restaurant. I tried the yellow rice, chicken masala, fish fry, and a variety of other additional vegetable sides. Food was delicious, and it’s quite a popular place.

Again, Singapore has authentic and extremely delicious Indian food and this is just a start to all the delicious places to try!

  3. Holy Moly! I've been a big fan of " Mark Weins " since many years. But now this will be disturbing and my comment will be so miserable and I never hoped to post this. At the moment Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 is facing to a terrible economic crisis and we are running out of food, fuel and medicines. So please be kind enough to visit my beautiful paradise island and spend your valuable dollars to help to come out from this disaster as a nation. Humble request !!! 😫💖💐🙏

  4. Hi mark, thanks for all your videos, we love your travels, places and extraordinary food and cultural facts! Eating in banana leaf was amazing – you should have tried all the dishes with plain white rice, traditionally yellow rice or mixed rice is eaten separately rather than with curries, kootu( cabbage with moong dhal) and rasam etc just giving a idea, for the next time 😂-keep up your travels and lovely smiles -sending warm regards with hugs to your wife and your son too🤗

  5. Ohh my god Mark so thank for a little Indian street food review, I really love your all videos, I am wait for more videos from you. Big Thank😘😘😘
