Dwarf Hamster Being Cute // Collected videos of Shirley the Rescue Hamster March 2022 🐹 💕
Spread The Viralist

Hi Hamster Friends!

This week’s video is a compilation of some recent footage of Shirley, the rescue dwarf hamster.

Shirley is currently battling pneumonia. She’s definitely improving since her initial diagnosis, but since she is on the older side (1 yr, 9 mo. ) so the recovery isn’t easy. It’s been pretty busy and stressful, taking care of four, elderly hamsters simultaneously. I want to make sure that they have all of their physical and emotional needs me of course, which keeps me busy!

I have quite a few videos in the works and hope to be able to release them soon! Until then, I hope you enjoy these videos of Shirley as much as I did. If you are considering becoming a foster parent to a hamster or other small animal, I highly encourage it! It’s an incredibly rewarding experience and I couldn’t imagine the last two years without this little lady.

Shelters & rescues around the country are overwhelmed with small animals right now. If you can’t foster, consider a donation of even $5, every penny helps!

Thanks for joining me on my hamster care journey!

If you are interested in adopting or fostering a hamster, please see my website for a list of hamster or small animal rescues in your area: https://www.rachelgothamsters.com/adopting-or-surrendering-a-hamster

There are so many hamsters in need of a loving home with a large wheel and lots of burrowing space! Fostering is a great way to help out and very rewarding.

If you don’t have the ability to foster or adopt, you can shop using Smile.amazon.com, then search for “Wee Companions” and help a small animal rescue based in San Diego!

Most small animal rescues also take donations through their website, anything helps!

  1. I wish Shirley all the best. You poor thing, Rachael. To have your little ones poorly must be so stressful. You are doing such a wonderful job with caring for them. I hope you have somebody caring for you too.

  2. Oh, poor sweetie baby :(((((( I hope she recovers quickly and remains in great health the rest of her life!!! She's SOOOOOOOO FREAKING ADORABLE <3333333333333 I love watching her so much!!!! I'm glad she has such a good and loving owner ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

  3. She’s lovely, l hope she feels better soon and you can enjoy her for more time to come. I have 2 elderly rescues. One is growing old but with no health issues just becoming more sleepy. The other is never away from the vet, they came to me as brothers but they couldn’t be more different.
