#5 – Fox cub gets head stuck in a wheel!
Our team was called out to a fox cub ‘stuck in a fence’, but when rescuer, Goff, arrived, it turned out to be something very different! Goff rushed the cub back to the centre, where Simon and vet nurse, Sara, had their work cut out getting the little fox free. Amazingly, the fox was freed without the need to cut through the wheel and, after a brief recovery time, it could be returned to the wild!

#4 – Desperately injured badger
This rescue proved to be one of the toughest badger rescues that Simon and Lawrie had ever dealt with. Burying itself in the undergrowth, the desperately injured badger needed urgent medical treatment.

#3 – When it all goes wrong – Amazing goose rescue
We were recently called out to help relocate a family of Egyptian geese (under license) after they had wandered dangerously close to a busy main road. Although we do rescues like this all the time, both mum and the ducklings were very skittish and it quickly became one of the most difficult rescues we have done for a long time…

#2 – Cygnet rescue – Simon beaten up by an angry swan
Swans are very protective parents. The male swan, called the ‘cob’, can be very aggressive in order to protect his young. Simon went out to rescue a cygnet that was stuck in a fence, near the River Thames. He had to face a very angry cob that wouldn’t let anybody near his poor baby.

#1 – Trapped Fawn Gets Reunited With Her Mum!
An amazing rescue of a fawn who has been stuck in a fence all day, screaming for its mother. Not only did we save its life, but what happens next is pure magic and guaranteed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

  1. WHY do people selfishly build fences and gates like that? You can see through wire mesh fence (1cm holes) few animals could get caught or injured in it.

  2. I love these people.
My heart and soul has me serving animals.
I take care of stray cats, here in US.
    Have done so for years.
I've had about 40 strays spayed or neutered and I feed them and provide winter warmth.
All by myself, because I'm good at what I do and besides, cats don't care for a crowd.
I've never met a 'feral' cat.
I have 3 of my own cats, well, 4 now because the cat that got attacked by a dog was so happy about being saved (no broken bones…just a nasty gash I was able to get to heal with a course of amoxicillin) he became my friend and after being neutered he came to stay.
I dont have the heart to 'rehome' him..i likely saved his life and I couldn't trust that he would be okay.
    Besides, he loves me.
    It's mutual.

  3. Hi there, I'm doing a dissertation on the damage Urbanisation causes on wildlife. I'd love to interview someone from the charity as part of this.

  4. Super rescues 😊 what a beautiful video 👌 if in fact I love to see your videos even if they are from 5 years ago. I learn a lot if in some country there aren't. people ike you 😇💓🍀✌

  5. The fox, cygnet and deer have stuck with me since I first saw them on TV. Lawrie's so good at this, and I'm always confident that it'll be done right if he and/or Simon are there 😀
