  1. I was just about to get this company to transport my Bernice to Asia! This is too scary!!! Is it because of this incident why they now suddenly stop getting new customers!

  2. The company claims "there's only a handful of incidents". There should be no incidents if you're doing your job right. Was the air pressure safe? Did the poor dog have enough room to stand and walk? This company should be sued.

  3. Baggage carriers often call dogs "pup-sicles." Pets ride closer to the extraordinarily loud jets in cold, dark, and poorly insulated baggage compartments. When pets are unloaded they are freezing, shaking, and fearful after riding even a couple hours. I can imagine that a dogs ears and balance would be pretty messed up after a flight. Do dogs get vertigo?

  4. Sorry if this sounds cold to the owners but I’d of had my dog to the vet first day back, if I didn’t get a sensible treatment on to the next veterinarian. Very sorry for your loss.

  5. 30 hour journey? There's your problem right there. No wonder the dog passed away. That is a ridiculous amount of time for your dog to be kept in a carrier underneath the plane. Surely there's no excuse for putting them up for that long just to travel?

  6. Sounds like the owners knew it would be a 30 hour flight for their 8 year old large dog (8-11 is typical lifespan of a large dog). Do what you gotta do but that's a lot to put a dog through

  7. Poor dog.. don't travel with your dog! It's all the owners fault. You should know in anyway you travel, it's VERY stressful for the animal to take a flight. Don't keep a pet if you don't have anyone you can have them keep your pet.
