Chance’s story starts all the way on the other side of the world. As a desert dog in Kuwait. Chance’s survival was already slim—and then somebody decided to shoot him. Probably used as target practice when he was still a young dog. Which seems to be a common situation over there. Far too many dogs, are shot in the spine with great precision. Left to suffer and die a horrible death if not found or rescued from the streets.
Chance had broken twisted legs with open wounds on his paws, both hips dislocated and a bullet lodged in his spinal cord, which caused him to be paralyzed, from the waist down & incontinent, He needs to wear diapers. He’s not completely paralyzed, as he moves his tail. He also had a complete sex removal. They moved his peeing position to the back under his anal hole. He now pees like a girl, no more penis.
Traveled from Kuwait to our home in Quebec, Canada to live with Chance our other dog like him. “Our hearts were filled with love for them and we wanted to be there with them to see them thrive. Our family & friends had also fallen in love with him. They have so much spunk and personality, and they trusts and love us; we know they were meant to be a part of our family.” Connie wrote

  1. This dog is so amazing and a hero, he proves that being disabled whether human, dog, cat means nothing he is beautiful and an inspiration and what a wonderful family to adopt him. I have two rescue dogs with brain damage and a daughter with cerebral palsy we live one day at a time but I love them so much I am happy my house full of love. Never forget these disabled pets or humans need friendship, love and a home too.
