Sometimes you lift so hard everything blacks out… that’s when the fall happens.

TOP WORKOUT FAILS OF THE WEEK – is a weekly digital series highlighting the best (or worst?) workout fails submitted to Generation Iron and GymFuckery. Combining training injuries, ego lifts, extremely bad form, and even worse decisions. This digital greatest hits of workout fails will make you cringe and laugh to wash away to work week. New episodes every Friday.

Another week, another video showcasing the top workout fails submitted via our GymFuckery platform. It’s a dedicated job looking through all of these painful submissions – but someone has to do it! This week’s big highlight comes in the form of a heavy deadlift that goes wrong. No bad form or broken bones (thankfully) but this lifter pushes himself so hard that he faints and comes tumbling down to the floor with a heavy bang.

Unfortunately, fainting after a deadlift is more common than you think and could lead to some potentially dangerous falls since the person isn’t conscious to brace for the fall. That’s why spotters are always a good idea and a deadlift area with some padding could be helpful as well.

Beyond that we have some other weight drops and strange form in the gym as usual. Do you think all of these wacky people doing the strangest movements all meet up once a month to talk about their strange lifting style?

  1. Some of these might be FAILED REPS , but not failed execution or technique! One guy failed on bench but he had safety bars there for that. He did everything right.

  2. I dont mind the 2nd one. If theres one press defeat to do without a spotter its incline and the guy had a perfect way out. Everyone hits a failure point on bench now and then

  3. If some of these people would just realize you DON'T need that much damn weight on the bar or machine they would get BETTER results using less with a full range of motion…

  4. i mean everyone is different and got a different opinion on what is right and everyone should do it how they want to to a degree…. but this :/ it aint funny how they think they are going to gain somthing 2:09 i mean you can go to heavy everyone his own style right! but this bro :/ please you look like a fool you can use those weights when you on roids lol
