Emaciated Dog Rescued from a Puppy Mill
Spread The Viralist

Meet Tucker! He was one of 40 dogs and 75 other animals rescued from a suspected puppy mill in Gates County, North Carolina in 2013. The animals were living in squalor with access to very little food or water. Watch this sweet Boston Terrier’s story to see how far he has come and how much he loves life with his Mom, Florence!

  1. What happens, nearly all the time with an animal rescued from a hell-hole like this..they are given 'love-groceries-vet care', and once safe, they start to lose their fear. Respond to real caring! And blossom into the great dogs THEY ALWAYS WERE. My hats off to the Humane. Think I'll send a memorial donation in honor of my mom, who dearly loved my sister's rescue dog, Moonie. He was her stedfast companion, there by her bed when she died peacefully in her sleep, at 95….

  2. I have Mia. She was pulled from the Gates County puppy mill along with Tucker. She was one of the lucky ones. She is now the princess of all the things. Respiratory issues from the stage 5 heartworms. But twice a year xrays and echos…lots of meds…keeps her with me. Puppy mills….no heartworm prevention…no quality diet…no clean water…filthy conditions…no kindness…. What a cruel, miserable existence. There needs to be punishment for the horrible humans that think this is okay. These sweet little bundles of love deserve everything. And I know they sit in misery, hungry, and sad wondering why there is never any kindness reciprocated. This crushes my heart and soul.

  3. i have a boston terrier my freind rescued her and they couldent take care of her so we took her. And from that very first moment i knew she was ganna be MY dog i knew she would forget about the bad things that happened to her. She always greets me kisses when i come home to school and i greet her kisses too. I just love my dog so much her name is diamond❤❤

  4. I have two beautiful dogs I got at pet stores. Both came from private breeding situations. Not sure of their history, but wanted the 2nd one to be a rescued dog. I rang the local RSPCA to see about getting one from them as a companion dog for my older one and they said it wasn't a good idea to get one as they needed to be in homes where they got special care as one only dogs because of the trauma they had been through, so I went ahead and got the 2nd dog from a shop instead. Would have loved to have helped a rescued dog but couldn't. I don't think the RSPCA did the right thing fobbing me off but I guess they were well intentioned at the time. Tucker is a cutie and nice to see he has a VERY loving home.

  5. What is so sad is that there are so many other animals that have been treated like Tucker who are never rescued. They live and die in those messes. It breaks my heart.

  6. What a nice dog. I adopted a dog that was about to be euthanized cause he was to old and they considered her as a ugly dog. A animal is to love and not discriminate. Now she died this year and I said to myself that the dog could rest in peace and died in a normal way and peacefully.

  7. You guys are all heroes to so many people-Tucker is so cute and he found an excellent momma-you can tell that Florence completely adores him. What a nice story it brought me to tears

  8. Those scumbags who breed for money should be shot, I have NO empathy for humans are greedy and put animals through hell for it, hope all animal abusers have a slow painful death!

  9. Awe I love his ears he could fly<3 so sad he was born into such a disgusting place but so glad he's able to be with someone who loves him:)
