And whether it is over food, territory or sex, animals go to war within their species and against other species…Battles dissects these conflicts, from the strategy to the play-by-play. These five episodes bring together dozens of species, which are extraordinary, savage, and the World’s Deadliest Predators.

  1. Whatever happened to NG? Is our society today so shallow that only novel images matter (via the ubiquitous "crittercam")? To the extent that the narration in this particular video can assert that octopus swim with their "legs". I'm not being pedantic, if they want to call tentacles legs, who cares – but octopus do NOT use their limbs for locomotion through the water, they use their mantle and siphon for jet propulsion, and finned octopus use their fins to swim. Tentacles (or "legs") are only used when the octopus is moving over a solid surface and not swimming.

  2. watched this immediately after octopus vs shark… mammalian flexibility might be a factor but I think the real difference has to be fur… the octopus can't grab on.
