active cops(not a behind the desk all day cop) should have to jog 45mins a day on a treadmill. not walk, and no breaks. 45mins they get paid to exercise. not unreasonable to expect active street cops to keep in shape after the police academy.
You are not going to outrun the police in those freeways and wide roads.
