Once you kill it you put it in have it close but grab two toothpicks put them on both sides of the trap and gently tap it for 20-30 seconds and move it around until it tightened

Hey I have a question I live in the us and there are these ants that are everywhere we call them sugar ants I don’t know what exactly they are but they come into our home ever now and then and get all in the kitchen well in my room they never appear even after trying to bait them and for years I have found dead ants on my window seal I have never put any insects killer or anything like that there ever and for years ants have come there and died never making it into my room any idea why

You know just a few days ago I walked out of soccer practice and there was a pavement ant nuptial flight and I had to remove the car which was covered with queen so they didn’t get hurt. Sadly I couldn’t keep one cause I didn’t have a test tube and the location was 45 minutes away from my house!
