4. Allah speaks to humanity through the Qur’an. It is not a book sent to decorate shelves or be recited without reflection, but a reminder meant to awaken the living. As long as we breathe in this world, it is our responsibility to read what Allah has revealed and to remind one another of it.

   Allah granted human beings free will. We choose our words, our actions, and the paths we walk. He does not force belief, nor does He invade our minds or compel our desires. Choice is part of the test. And every choice carries responsibility.

   Human beings often control, harm, and misuse one another. Allah does none of this. He does not oppress His creation. He allows us to think, to question, to accept or reject—while never abandoning justice. Freedom itself is a sign of His mercy.

   To return to Allah is to return to accountability. In this world, people judge with limited knowledge and biased standards. In the Hereafter, Allah alone will judge—with complete knowledge and perfect justice. He is the Creator of everything, and therefore the only One worthy of judgment.

   Nothing in creation exists without purpose. Every created thing fulfills its role and then returns to Allah once its mission is complete. Everything has its expiry dates—except the Creator Himself. Allah alone is eternal.

   Everything will die and return to Him. Allah established the Deen—the divine system—and He alone judges by it. He is the Master of the Day of Judgment (Qur’an 1:4).

   Allah gives time—abundant time. Life itself is an extended opportunity. Until you return to Him, you are accountable for every decision you knowingly made. On that Day, you will not need witnesses; you will be sufficient against yourself (Qur’an 17:14).

   No one will be able to claim injustice. Allah will say: Did you think you would not return to Me? (Qur’an 23:115). You were given a lifetime to seek meaning and truth, yet you chose distraction over remembrance.

   The Qur’an reminds us that the life of this world often becomes a race—toward wealth, desire, status, and pleasures that vanish quickly (Qur’an 57:20). In chasing what fades, many forget the One who does not.

   So do not let the Day you finally meet Allah be the first day you understand what life was meant to be. Life was not an accident. Allah chose to grant it to you.

   Ask yourself: why were we created? Is life only about existence, earning, entertainment, love, desire, reproduction, and death? If that were all, what would separate us from animals?

   Why did Allah choose your soul to be human and not animal?

   Why were you given intellect, language, memory, and the ability to read, reflect, and seek truth—while animals were not?

   Imagine your soul placed in an animal’s body: no speech, no reading, no moral responsibility. Would you choose that life? If not, then why were you entrusted with more? Who are you—and what were you trusted with?

   The Qur’an answers this.

   Allah tells us that on the Day of Judgment, some people will wish they had been animals—because animals will not be held accountable. They will turn to dust, having completed their purpose. They served their role and will end with dignity.

   Mountains, skies, oceans, stars, trees, the sun and the moon—all of creation knows its place and submits. Trillions of galaxies move without rebellion.

   Human beings alone accepted the "amanah" —the trust. Yet many betrayed it. Instead of upholding the oneness and purity of Allah, they followed desire and committed shirk, worshipping what they preferred over the One who created them.

   Allah speaks the truth when He says that human beings are prone to injustice and ignorance (Qur’an 33:72).

   This is not written to remove hope—but to awaken it. Because the door of return remains open, until it no longer does.
