I saw a ski crash somewhere where a man’s hips were split into two. He had just enough time to look down, probably think “oh fuck” and then died on camera. It was horrific
Not nearly as awful as the guy who had his legs ripped out of their sockets and his pelvis broken in half……
Lindsey Vonn crash is bad, but I’ve seen worse. I remember I was watching super G as a kid, cant remember where it was.there was at middle of race a jump where you kinda go little high. Everything was good until one guy went. Dude went flying straight into barriers, breakthrough them and just stop moving. It was horrible, multple bone fractures and concussion. Cant remember where it was but it was horrendous.
The doctor said to her that her ACL is like shattered in 200 pieces

Not trying to diminish her crash at all because it was terrible, she still survived it thankfully. Thankfully it wasn’t the worst crash that has ever happened as those have ended in deaths.

Those are both calm compared to a crash I saw in the early 90's. A guy hit the netting, fractured his pelvis and slid down the mountain leaving a smear of blood. The guy bled out due to internal bleeding whilst in hospital.
For your own sake, don't look it up. It's brutal.
Edit: I looked it up, his name was Gernot Reinstadler and he was from Austria. He died 19th of january 1991 after crashing during a practice run in Interlaken, Switzerland.
Tore her ACL 2 weeks prior as well
No sympathy for her whatever. Her team knew about her ACL and said nothing, officials knew about the ACL and said nothing, Lindsey just went ahead with it. Womp womp. Don't comeback Von you're done.

I saw that live on television, just after me and my team were done with my match just like watching the Olympics 1 minute and saw the crash… I had also heard about that she is now stopping her dream… Hope i heard it wrong⛷️
This is kinda random but I go to a pretty wealthy school and they have a massive tv screen kinda like in a movie theatre and then there are tiered seating and they play the Winter Olympics during break time
