4. This is such a great idea! Shelters should allow donors to pay for an adoption, a collar/leash/toy, and a month’s worth of food if that will help get dogs adopted! Same of course for cats (I’m a dog person!)

24. Sad that everyone just goes for the puppies and some of these people seem like they got the puppy on a whim and will return it once it is an adult.
    It would have been better if he looked for homes for the adult dogs. Puppies always get adopted quite easily…

32. this place has a lot of different dogs. A shelter near me has about 99% pitbulls. As we were leaving there where 2 more coming in , very sad

39. Please do this at Devore, CA animal shelter. It's a high kill shelter that doesn't have enough space, employees, and the animals don't have adequate care. Our area is a dumping ground for animals and a lot of them don't make it. It's absolutely horrible. They are known as the shelter that animals go to be euthanized. Any assistance and attention would be wonderful. These animals need as much help as they can get.
