Daisy and Goroshok are two deer, who built very strong bonds with people, especially kids. Goroshok was rescued as a baby and Daisy is just a visitor, but both of them became dear friends to two kind families.

What she said isn't true….mother deer will often leave their fawns alone for hours at a time.
This is why if you find a fawn alone…just leave it. The mother will be back.
I appreciate people being kind to animals….but this is how kindness can result in misguided actions.

Stupid people. During the rut that deer will happily maim your kids for fun. Here in the UK and Europe have taken roe bucks in as pets only to have to let them out into the wild and then of course they are so tame they will attack any one. Gawd we have some seriously dumb people in this world.

Common sense says don’t habituate wild animals to humans. It’s cruel to do that to them because they’re going to wander up to a hunter one day.

This is beautiful to see! But my fear is that in areas where deer hunting occurs, deer acclimated more to people may be more susceptible to being shot.
