These Video Game Main Themes Are Awesome
Spread The Viralist

No game can be complete without a main theme. Frankly, I think main themes can actually even make or break the gameplay experience since the main theme is often the first thing we hear! Whether it’s 5 seconds or 5 minutes main themes in video games help us understand exactly what the game is about. try spending more time with the next game that you play and sit with the main theme and see what you uncover!

  1. the Blade and Sorcery analysis was something i did NOT expect. that game has such an incredible OST. the synth representing the ever-present influence of the Dalgarians even long after all you can do is look through their ruins and read tablets in a language you can CHOOSE TO TRANSLATE MANUALLY just makes me nerd out completely. the composers did incredible. infinitely replayable VR game

  2. In the vein of main themes one of my favorites is the theme from Valkyria Chronicles… it captures the feelings so well, and if you put it over a major period war movie I doubt anyone would notice.

  3. DQ11 was my first DQ and I absolutely recommend it if u like jrpgs. Endearing characters, great music, fun mechanics and lots of choice as to how to build your party along with a fun story full of elements both enjoyably predictable and other elements that come out of left field leaving you wondering where the story would go next. If i could describe the entire game in one sentence it would be "Proud triumph in the face of adversity" and the main theme absolutely sells that

  4. I'm very disappointed, because it's clear that you have played Chrono Trigger, so I can't leave my customary comment about how you need play Chrono Trigger

  5. Hiya Marco
I was wondering if you’d do a musical let’s play of signalis?
(Of course there’s not a lot of music on there but it’s still a pretty good game that I recommend)

  6. I loved the main themes to The Last of Us, Jedi Fallen Order, RiME, (undertale too but I can’t remember if it had a main theme)

RiME is a really cool game I recommend checking it out also Jedi Fallen Order is another recommendation too

  7. I remember first time hearing this OST from Severance: Blade of Darkness by Oscar Araujo in Pewdiepie LWIAY video, when subscriber on Subreddit was showing Pewds his Church-house in Minecraft and he used that soundtrack there. Then after a lot of time i heard it again in Black Halberd mod for Elden Ring video and it suited perfectly to the standing under the rain Black Blade Kindred gargoyle before Beastial Sanctum. In the original game this music plays when MC retrieves the most powerful weapon in the game the Sword of Ianna. Since then i always play this music in my head whenever i imagine or witness Temple or some kind of other holy or sacred place.

  8. I love the main theme of Kotor, but the main theme of KotoR 2 The Sith Lords is even better in my opinion. And it's the better game. 🙂 Especially with the restored content mod.
Both games start quite slow; you need some patience with them. I played both multiple times over the years and tried to play the dark side (as it's quite a different story), but couldn't bring myself to do it. 🙂
The Dragon Age Origins OST is really awesome.

  9. If you can find the time, I would suggest watching the video series by Max Derrat here on YT on Silent Hill. His knowledge of psychology, symbolism, the occult, and things like alchemy is astounding. He analyses many games and anime on those things. His videos on Full Metal Alchemist are also great. One gets even more out of the games and series with his help.

  10. Yo Marco, could you talk about Doors OST? It's a Roblox game with very cool songs, I have some suggestions for you:

    -Dawn Of The Doors

    -Oh Dam

    -Ready Or Not

    -Ready To Rumble

    -Guiding Light Theme

    -Make Haste

    -Unhinged II

If you want to react to trailers, these are my suggestions:

    Mines Floor 2 Trailer

    HOTEL+ Update Trailer

The trailers are in LSPLASH channel. This is day 7 asking this

  11. Sorry Marco
Ma se vai veloce tanto per ti rovini l'esperienza, non vedere i videogiochi come un dovere, qualcosa da sbrigare, ma come un momento di pace e serenità dove divertirsi e stare tranquilli, sicuramente godrai di più❤

  12. Main themes I've always had stick with me?

I liked the Street Fighter II theme, the Final Fantasy VI (3 in NA), Mega Man 2 from the NES days, Legend of Zelda for sure (I know I'm dating myself with all these 8 bit references). I liked almost all the soundtrack from Breath of Fire I, from Battletech, From Metal Gear Solid, Dawn of War, Age of Empires II have to get mentioned.

RTS and RPG defined my gaming experience (after the early platformer/fighter phase of early consoles) but there are just so many and I know I've forgotten more than I've thought to list here but that's a good sample. It's music that grabs your attention and holds it (like the theme from saturday night slam masters) and if you've ever heard it before, upon hearing it again you're transported back to the time you first heard it. That's the magic of good music as a storytelling medium.

  13. I'd love to see you react to the 2025 Welcome to Noxus – Bite Marks Cinematic for league! I enjoyed last years reaction a lot!! Keep up the good work!
