8. I know that a lot of people in the US can't make a proper living with the wages they allow their employers to get away with. Yes, you read it correct. I Did deliberately say allow. Because if you refused to say yes to a job with such lousy wages, the employers would have no choice but to pay you better if they want to have a business with employees. But that's another issue for another setting.
   What I simply cannot fathom is how low people will stoop to get what they will see as an edge. Stealing from other peoples porches are just so low that even poverty is not an excuse for it as those other people might be just as bad off. So, that already makes porch pirates both extremely low and even more extremely dumb. But what really hits the nail on the head and shows just how dumb they are is the fact that everybody has a doorbell or surveillance camera by now, yet these insanely dumb porch pirates always get caught on them and don't even try to look for them or avoid them, but just walk up to the porch and steal the packages, thinking they got away with it every single time and nobody will ever know who they are or even discover them if at home. I mean, are they really that hellbent on becoming featured in "America's dumbest criminals?"
   I live in a place in Denmark where parcel deliveries will just be placed the same way if you are not at home. Yet the parcels can sit there in days if you are out of town, and not even the homeless or drug addicts in serious need of something to sell or trade for food or drugs will even think of stealing them. And they walk by every single day, obviously noting the presence of the parcels and no cameras anywhere to tell on them. It simply doesn't occur to them to cause that kind of hurt to other people.
   So what is wrong with this American way of thinking since it is so widespread even among people who like to think they are decent law abiding people? Something is seriously off with the way people over there see things.
   Oh, and before Americans say I don't know shit about it, I have friends over there and have lived there for a time. So I am kept in the loop on things by my friends there. And this is a recurring subject which is just getting worse by the day.
   I also know that this is a page for fun and no serious talk, but this problem is just too fundamental by now, and the issue is honestly one where even a porch pirate getting caught is not really a thing that belongs in a fun site other than making fun of criminals being stupid as the main subject. At least in a European mindset.
