When MMA and Street Fighting Collide

It’s no secret that MMA is trained fighting and street fighting, more often than not, is just dudes who played a UFC video game once or twice and think they’re the second coming of Chuck Liddell(he’s not dead, but that’s their mindset).

In this video, we’re going to be looking at instances where MMA and street fighting collide in one way or another. Whether it’s actual fighters vs brawlers or MMA in a street fight, this is what happens when MMA and street fighting collide!

  1. Any martial art will work if you have the right mentality. Fear of getting hit will make you forget everything you trained on. Even MMA fights become all out brawls.

  2. My friend is a brown belt in BJJ and also a marine …. He weighs probably 160 lbs and I am 320 lbs ….. I’ve lost to him twice and we only wrestled once lol

  3. Aikido is a very subtle and difficult martial art to master. It take decades to become proficient. Westerners think that a few techniques off the web and thats enough to apply it. Wrong! Like Shaolin, there is the aspect of Chi that needs to be addressed.

  4. Props to street fighting “brawlers”, I don’t want the smoke. But when you see a guy (or girl) with puffed out cauliflower ears. You better just apologize and try to escape without any broken bones

  5. none of these guys are former Military those are civilian fighters military will kill most of the time
thats what we are taught thats what we train i have been out 25 years and i'm disabled and have no intention of sitting the bench

  6. this video is 50% BS. First of all, "street fighters are just brawlers" tf? REAL street fighters are football hooligans, ultra right wing radicals etc. Not you drunk uncle who once fought in his life 20 years ago. You think they lack stamina? Lol street fights barely last a minute. Next. Street fighters DO practice martial arts, but also they learned how to go beyond MMA rules. Watch king of the streets to get the idea. Good luck applying your beloved BJJ when your eyes are getting poked out. Or youre getting headbutt. That's literally what happened there multiple times, and ofc the BJJ couldn't fvcking win. Next. You say "mma vs street fights" and you show video of people fighting under mma rules. TF? How about "street" rules aka NO rules? Ok dude, allow groin kicks, bites and fingers to eyes, throwing stones or bottles or whatever, and lets see how the game is going to change (spoiler alert: it is going to change a lot). I'm not saying MMA fighters would always lose, ofc not, but your stoopeed video has nothing to do with the reality.I saw street fights and had to participate in some (not bragging at all, it was pure necessity) and while learning martial arts definitely helps, street fights still differ a lot from MMA. Again, the clips you selected have nothing to do with street fights, this is MMA under MMA rules, sometimes even worse – boxing rules. Your 15 years old boi would be surprised to get kicked in the groin by that 20 years old due

  7. That Goof knows NOTHING about Aikido. There was NOTHING about his stance or movement that fits any Aikido I've ever seen. I was in multiple martial arts for over 12 years. I can tell you that fellow likely never saw the inside of a Dojo in his life.

  8. Not one single street fight. They pretend like there's this other meaning for street fight, but there isn't. It's just somebodies quick compilation of garbage that they stole off the internet.

  9. patty only won cause no striking roll if there were strikes allowed 0-7 patty. Also someone does that to me in the field draw any ws and pop hes sleep

  10. The Aikido guy got smoked because he was practicing an alternate version of Aikido. The real version is down and dirty. Eye pokes/gouges, throat punches, hits to the head, groin shots, etc. That's why true Aikido and Aikido fighters aren't seen in MMA. Most of the moves are illegal. I'm far from an expert, but I'm surprised that I have to tell you this.

  11. Boxing it’s the master of street fights, you don’t want to wrestle or kick in a street fight way to risky specially if the opponent has friends around even if you have your boys with you, you just punch straight to the nose or hook to the ear and that’s it fight it’s over

  12. Kevin Holland is the biggest waste of talent in the UFC!!! Dude should be champ multiple times, if he took his training more serious. Love that dude, its just a shame!!

  13. I feel kinda sorry for aikido guys. It's basically cosplay. You know how it is…..they grow their hair long (resembling Steven Seagal, their idol)…..they wear really cool looking outfits, strut around the room like a movie character who's got his shit together, and learn many, many (too many) moves. Tehn they go and try it out, and 9 times out of 10, they get a wake up call with reality.

  14. I studied Aikido a bit. Basically it taught you how to break holds, do simple throws, and, most importantly, how to fall. I didn't get deeply into it but when I got in a bicycle accident, learning how to fall saved me from serious injury.

  15. but this is no streetfights tho and ppl how train martial arts has a higher chance to get stabbed (in the back) then a "normal" person,,and ya can forget 1 vs 1,,this is just ridiculous an f stupid to make a video like this

  16. PRAY THAT ALL OF THESE PEOPLE IN ALL OF THESE VIDEOS AND THINGS AND THIS VIDEO AND THING AND ALL OF THESE PEOPLE AND ALL OF THESE YOUTUBERS AND FAMOUS PEOPLE AND ALL OF THESE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THESE YOUTUBERS AND YOUTUBE CHANNELS AND THIS YOUTUBER AND AND THE YOUTUBED DESHAWN AKA SUPAHOTFIRE AND GILBET ARENAS AND KAI CENAT AND KANYE WEST AND ALL OF THESE PEOPLE IN THESE COMMENTS AND CHATS AND ANYONE THAT CALLS THEMSELF A GOD AND THE YOUTUBER THAT CALLS HIMSELF "PACK GOD." AND BAYLEN LEVINE AND HIS FRIENDS PEEJ AND KYLE JOHNSON AND SEBASTIAN BENITEZ AND ALL OF THE PEOPLE IN HIS SONGS AND ALBUMS AND ALL OF THESE PEOPLES FAMILIES AND FRIENDS REPENT AND FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST.✝✝✝

  17. I was there when Patty came by Pendleton but I was swamped with work that day and couldn’t go see him. The crazy part is that he was LITERALLY down the hall from me! In the same building 😭

  18. 14:39 The „Strike“ head kick or elbow?
I find a correctly hit to the jaw with the elbow more impressive. Not only knocking the opponent out but the possibility of jaw breaking.
The fights shown aren‘t really full body contact.
    Muay Thai, elbows and knees.
Street fights have no rules except for don’t be stupid and die 🤦🏻‍♂️
Don’t judge a book by it‘s cover was really good. Situational awareness is key, never underestimate your opponent, respect him. Fighting can be like football. The game can be changed at the last moment and won.
    Great stuff, take care 🍀

  19. the thing that annoys me about this kind of content is that people put either a specific martial arts or MMA on a pedestal, or say one is better than the other. When MMA literally means mixed martial arts. It always comes down to how much one trains, period. A master aikido person can destroy a band new MMA fighter, and a person whos been bare knuckle boxing for years can destroy someone whos done jiujitsu for a few months (in fact, that was kimbo slices story) no one style is better than the other, it all comes down to the individual and how they use their knowledge

  20. 0:30 People gotta realise the dude who threw this kick LOST that striking exchange. When you land your TOES on someone's HEAD. It is NOT the same as the shinbone. If that dude didn't break his foot from that he would've absolutely been out 1 leg the rest of the fight. But people who don't know fighting go "OHHHH". The guy who blocked it with his head would've felt less pain than the guy who threw the kick. Guy who who threw the kick crippled his foot and guy who took it stood straight back up, you can't do that when a shinbone lands in that manner.

Edit: You can actually watch, the foot he landed on GIVES OUT when he goes to plant it back, causing his other leg to fall over due to the weigh balance and then his injured foot cripples further while trying to stand. Does anyone know what the full fight is called?
