Yes I would of done the same,I love all animals,at the moment I have cats,I have 5 two I got from choice,but I have three rescue cats at the moment,I did have four but we lost one,he had been beaten and his kidneys were damaged. I was heart broken when he passed away. So yes I would definately do exactly as this young man has done.
50+ years ago I was walking to the site I was building a cabin, 3 days walk 5 now that I'm a little older. I found a wolf and her pups, she was in a trap. I stayed for several days hunting to feed them. She finally allowed me to free her but didn't leave, I cleaned the wound, hunted for food for them and continued to my cabin site, she and the pups followed. That was 50+ years ago, today there are 13 adults and 4 pups I am greeted the same way every year when I go to the cabin. I'm knocked down and licked and rubbed against until the alpha female brings her pups over and drops them in my lap. They all sleep in the cabin when I'm there, mama and the pups on the bed with me.
