As someone that does a lot of backpacking and camping, everything has an explanation. Also, hiding in a tent when there is someone there is not the brightest. I always have a gun, whistle, bear spray with me. Never had to use neither of those tools yet.
The “peaking in truck” camping story is very similar to many others I’ve seen on YouTube. I believe this, or many others are a hoax
