35. I absolutely did this with my wife last week at the gun range. She had never fired a handgun. We used my 9mm Taurus G3c and ran through some dry fire drills. Safety rules, sight alignment, trigger pull, empty and clear. Then I loaded 1 round and allowed her to fire it. She handled it well, and then we moved to full load but slow action. Sights on, slack out, and squeeeeeeze. It's better to have safety and fundamentals before fun.

    Yes. I got to shoot a 500. S&W, only loaded in one bullet at a time for safety, first time shooting one.
    Some other people wanted to shoot it, did the same thing for them as well. Haha good thing too cuz one guy was an older man possibly a few beers in him, gun nearly flew out of his hand.
