  1. I got the creepiest voiceline earlier. I was selling scrap to the company like usual, but when he took the loot instead of playing the usual “we value your commitment” bs, he says “THESE WALLS CANNOT HOLD IT. H-H-HOLD IT.” Anyone else hear that voiceline before?

  2. Im wondering how death fits in lorewise. Gameplay, you are revived even if you dont make quota, just to be ejected into space. Are we the same person that got eaten by a dog in another life?

  3. I wonder if you go enough days if you can leave, made to to a 2300 quota and safe to say there was zero chance we were ever going to make it

  4. Has anyone else found the thing under the company building with "battery" and "don't tell" spray painted on it?I'm pretty sure it's a device made by sigurd's crew to break into the company building.

  5. The highest quota I've gotten with my friends was 4400, at which point the game bugged because we left and came back and our items had disappeared. Installing the MoreItems mod fixed it for the future

  6. I’d wager that it’s possible that the crew of the pilot logs and the crew we play as are the same people – clones of the original crew in 1968.

It would explain the discrepancy of the time dates, the reasons why they came remember when they first came on the ship, and why they are so disposable.

We know the company has means of teleportation that is tagged directly to the suits of the individual crew, which explains why they charge you money if you don’t bring back a body – they’re teleporting the equipment and genetic material back at their own cost to be rebuilt on the cheap.

It’s likely that whatever Lovecraftian entity they have encased in the company HQ was first discovered by the original 1968 crew, hence it seems to have bonded them to its service, and the time passing is probably because of memory loss everytime a crew member dies. They might not remember their death, or might instead have false memories or identities implanted.

  7. 11:53 Correction: Pacifist is not a real moon, I immediately recognized the moon pictured as Phobos around Mars and sure enough the picture used for “Pacifist” is the first google image for Phobos. Titan orbits Saturn in real life as well and by and large there are no moons in our solar system that are similar or inspiration to the majority if not nearly all of the moons of Lethal Company.

  8. It would be insane if there was an actual ending that when you complete the contract that the company hired you for, the company would actually allow you to explore the Company Building, in which you find out the real truth behind the wall, cause we all know that there is something fishy behind it

  9. Considering The Company is more likely an eldritch entity than an actual corporation, my theory is that the scrap you collect has some kind of cosmic energy infused in it that The Company uses to sustain itself. That would explain why the screaming on the other side of the wall was louder when they were buying at 120%. The Company was hungry, and therefore desperate. That would also explain the gradually escalating quotas.

The people who get “fired” (out the airlock) are likely people who have become too resourceful and skilled to end up being killed and eaten by the monsters. These people would begin presenting a threat to The Company, as they would eventually learn about the true nature of their circumstances overtime, leading them to try to escape from or rebel against The Company. The people who failed to meet low quotas were either too lazy or too cowardly to go into the facilities long enough to die and be fed to the monsters, making them simply useless to The Company rather than actively dangerous.

  10. I feel like a conclusion to the story of Lethal Company would best be suited for a comic or something outside of the game itself, unless they want to include some kind of crazy endgame raid-style missions.

  11. I really hope they add more moons and more monsters and add onto the lore. I'd love to see more of it the game gives me heavy iron lung vibes where humanity is dwindling out, things are dire.

  12. how about the secret area at the company when u go down the trap door and then u can jump on a beam and that beam will take u to like a genarotor/bomb looking thing that u van put in those batterys that glow in

  13. Note on the max possible quota: my group lasted until day 40 and we had a quota of about 2800 by then a couple days ago and thats the furthest we went. The previous quota was I think 2400s? It doesn't go up by 100 credit increments. It proportionally increases more harshly the further you go. We were getting 300+ increments on the last few quotas.

  14. “His crew” really? Why assume the player is a man? Are will still living in a world where people think women don’t play video games?

  15. As someone writing a sci-fi poly romance space adventure set on Saturn's moon, Titan, for the past year, the way panicked when I heard him say "Titan, one of Jupiter's moon." 😂😂😂

  16. I just notice how the screaming behind the wall only happens when the company wants to buy the stuff for 85% and above.

Edit: I may need to correct myself since I may have played a modded version of lethal company so it may actually just start at 100% with the screaming ambiance for the vanilla version
