  1. My issue is this. I’m a wrestler and submission trained person. I had a winning record and I was a freak. Now.. years later and a few fights later, I’ve learned something by experience coupled with my knowledge by paying attention to reality. We don’t always know WHAT SIZE a guy will be. Girls too. Same goes for them. We would hate to see you train bjj all week for years only to get pressed on by a giant. Weapons is another one. I saw a guy apply an arm bar and get stabbed too. When we’re talking about our life and safety we need to do better than GRAB. I now teach KUNG FU STRIKING mostly jkd and wing chun. Effective hits are far superior to a grabber. If the 46 year old me faced the 20 year old wrestler. I’d be in big trouble with what I can do now. 🤗💯☑️

  2. That is true in a street fight their is no honor or fairness, I say avoid fighting in the street if you can’t go for the balls and watch your opponent fall in pain.

  3. Well hopefully police don’t get involved because unfortunately there’s this thing called “the law”. So unless your able to justify why you ripped this guy’s throat out because he attacked you. You might get into some serious trouble.

  4. You better hope mma dudes buddys arent there as well then cuz i dont think trained killers would take kindly to you kicking their homie in the head 😂

  5. The reason its called a "street fight" is because The pavement and the Gravel always wins in a street scrum! 😂😂 …. bjj is not a great option in most cases of chaos like this. You'll definitely feel some boots, and some road rash! Been there, done that!

  6. Lots of times your simply OUTGUNNED trading strikes….or have no choixe and get draggged or knocked down to the ground. In these VERY common cases you better know how tol fight on the ground

  7. Dude in green could’ve been pile drived for a second there when he was upside down. I would agree, you never want to go to the ground in a street fight. Too many bad things can happen. Someone pulls a gun or a knife. Someone busts a bottle over your head. 1 on 1 becomes a 5 on 1 beating.

  8. This isnt a problem with juijitsu in a fight…
This is a problem with juijitsu gyms that dont actually teach their students juijitsu.
This is a complete juijitsu fail, and an absolute embarresment to the gym that trained this purple belt

  9. Collegiate, Greco-Roman wrestling, Sambo, and Judo are the best grapplings in street-fighting. No grappling ends a street-fight quicker than a high amplitude throw/slam into a hard surface. Just keep in mind your opponent can be paralyzed or worse.

  10. It works, but he’s just cautioning the reality of a street fight. Most guys these days can’t fight and would pull out a weapon or homies on you. Train smart, stay safe.

  11. Thats why people get killed in street fights zero honor. Used to be 2 guys had a problem, picked a time and place and it STAYED between them. No weapons no buddies stepping in, it went on till one guy was asleep or called it quits. And that was it, and 9/10 the 2 respected each other after even if they still didnt agree or like each other because they both stood their ground. Now its "im gonna go get my gun or my cousins" cause dad didnt teach them how to learn from a loss.

  12. I mean if you’re gonna get jumped you’re getting fucked up either way. Regardless of what training you have. This is like saying weightlifting won’t prepare you to lift up a tank

  13. No honor in a street fight? You’re going to stomp someone trying to 50/50 your friend in a street fight? You’re a dishonorable pos dude. If I fight someone, it shouldn’t even be called a fight. It should be called a silencing. Neutralization. Animated Deescalation. But definitely not “fight with no honor” – why would I do that? Because the other guy might do that? We should expect the bad guy to be a bad guy – like you. But we don’t need to become a bad guy to defeat the bad guy. If they’re doing dirty tricks, turn the dial up to 8 and make things 10 times more miserable than you would have but absolutely do it with honor. I’m not going to throw dirt in his eyes because I don’t need to. He might try to throw it in mine but I won’t return his dishonor – I will just make the soft neutralization into a hard neutralization. And if friends are wanting to kick us in the head then we are dumbasses for being somewhere that has that many guys with zero integrity bunched up in a scenario where they might end up kicking someone in the head when they’re on the floor. Otherwise just say “hey, sorry man – you win. I apologize genuinely. I don’t want to fight and I am so sorry for stirring up this trouble in your life. Please allow me to leave” and then leave. You win. If he doesn’t let you leave, neutralize him with jiu jitsu. If it’s a situation where you believe there are friends who might get involved, take him down and stay standing or go knee on stomach to survey and if he doesn’t want to play fair then intensity the application of the techniques to be as uncomfortable and exhausting as they can be. Fight fair. Keep your honor in spite of these jerks.

  14. Bjj is risky in a street fight. People getting chocked get desperate. You can get stubbed, get your eyes fingered… all in all keep it on your feet and get out of there ASAP

  15. That is the stupidest argument. Anyone you’re fighting can have multiple friends. A Muay Thai, karate or boxer cannot defend themselves against four bjj fighter, so how would they defend themselves against four BJJ tackling him to the ground…?

  16. Green shirt won. It is what it is. Weak mofos want to instigate the fight then claim "you can't do that" when their homie is getting his ass beat. Been there, seen that.

  17. I don't think grappling is the way to go if your outnumbered. This is where boxing and kickboxing come into play, sprinkle in a little Krav Maga in there you should be fine as long as your moving around enough so you only have to fight one at a time

  18. Bjj is good to learn for 1v1 fights
Muay Thai is good for 1v1 and if ur good maybe 1v2
Boxing is the same as Muay Thai
    Karate is a 1v1
    Taekwondo is useless
    Wrestleing is a 1v1

  19. hes lucky that black guy was weak . would be easy to just slam that "bjj warrior" on his head . this hugging stuff works solo on mats. on hard concrete you can do more. you can eye gouge and rip nuts . mma dudes are the worst fake tough guys out

  20. That’s exactly why if you do end up on the ground and find yourself putting somebody in a submission DONT WASTE TIME, don’t put tension just go for it all the way 🥴 like he said there is no rules in street fights. Put somebody in that flying scissor heel hook and that knee n ankle is FUCKED for LIFE 😘😂❤️ fuck ya feelings
