Loved the Scooby-Doo story, just really wish breeders would stop chopping the dogs ears off, it protects them
I had a bookshop in Ohio wherein shelter cats were fostered and then adopted by customers. More than 50 were adopted from my shop over the years. I then wrote a series of novels about the experience ("Shelve Under C" is the first) to encourage other shops to look into fostering dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. The business that took over my location continued to foster, thankfully.

Pro tip – if you are trying to coax a dog that is afraid and could be abused, crouch down when you talk to the dog. Especially if you are tall it is frightening and intimidating to them until you can earn their trust

I can't imagine how boiling hot and uncomfortable that sheep must have been to be carrying 35kg's worth of wool in Australia of all places for 5 years. Poor thing, but it survived somehow. The resilience of animals is amazing.

Airbags kill so many pets. If an animal is unrestrained, even a 30 MPH collision turns them into a missile.
Please give them all the safety you'd give a human child. It can mean their life.
