The motor mounts failing prematurely is just one of the side effects of VCM. Disable the VCM if you want the engine to last as long as possible. Otherwise you're burning excessive oil which results fouled spark plugs, dead ignition coils and clogged catalytic converters.

Vibration under the passenger seat black box? High speeds only like cables are free spinnijng!
I would have mentioned the oil leaking problem from the o-ring in the oil filter mount. They all start leaking there eventually but it’s an easy diy fix.
Serpentine belt tensioner on these are a pain. I charge an extra hour for almost anything on this vehicle.

I bought today a 2005 honda odyssey with 245k km the door has some issues as you mention in your video, and the dealer told me he will fix it to close properly manually but not automatically, how much can cost me extra to fix that? I saw a few comments about the transmission cooler to add it, what do you think? Thanks everyone

Just purchased 2008 Honda odyssey with 130000 miles.had cam belt changed at 93000. Just flushed transmission oil.complete flush. Should I change cam belt as been 6yrs.thks.
As with the Eletric Silding Doors, The right door opens fine but the left one opens fine but has some bumping going on
I have had an ‘06 and we now have an ‘07. Other than the Sienna perhaps, it is hands down the best minivan on the road. Smooth as glass. Our ‘06 had 214,000 miles and performed flawlessly in original drivetrain. A deer took it out 6 weeks ago. We purchased an ‘07 with 219,000 miles. Performs even better than the last. It was a one-owner that meticulously maintained it. I did have to replace the sliding door roller and brake rotors on my ‘06, but it was a simple fix! Great vehicles, just as long as regular maintenance and fluid changes are performed regularly.
These vans are excellent. Here’s my top 5:
1. VCM – disable it.
2. Transmission fluid replace every 20K miles.
3. High pressure power steering hose, replace with high-quality part (REIN or OE).
4. Use only a high-quality remanufactured or OE power steering pump.
5. Use only high-quality Brake pads and coated rotors.
Bonus: Only use original OE Honda center roller for sliding doors.
What do you do with an ignition lock cylinder, basically the key not turning in the ignition, on a Honda Odyssey 2007, cuz I would like to know that's my problem
Me and my wife got a 2000 Honda Odyssey. We were driving from Thomasville Cairo and Transmission just stopped completely Paula I’ve been told sensors I’ve been told it’s the whole Transmission what do you think but I can let it sit crank it back up following drive reverse in the movie.
