5. great video! 24:00 probably not the best place to eat in here my friend, not every restaurant in our country is good at cooking our traditional dishes, many restaurants that look fansy or even exagerate traditional looks are actually pretty bad at cooking peruvian food, any peruvian would tell you the same. The "lomo saltado" is not suppoust to taste like a chinese dish, we also got "Chifa" Restaurants that are chinese and their food is delicious but is waaay different in taste than classical peruvian dishes. So, that is clearly one of those restaurants that dont know how to cook proper peruvian dishes. If you go to Barranco or Miraflores, ask the people who walk around what restaurants they will suggest you to go to, and you will find the true peruvian dishes on those places. The best Lomo Saltado thoe, can only be found in the mountain area of the country, not in the coast, the meat tastes 100% different there, but still the coast version is really good if you know where to eat it. The same applies to all the other dishes, many restaurantes in Perú that are target their marketing efforts and location looks towards turists are actually the worse of the worse in terms of taste, sometimes peruvian's would stop eating the dish and ask for a refund and leave, because it is an insult to us to have a restaurant that claims to respect our dishes and then the quality is extremely poor and tastes way worse than anything we could do by our own at home. Hope you guys get to experience original dishes in other restaurants and not get scammed by false restaurants, have fun☺🙌!

27. Los Picarones look like doughnuts but it does not taste the same, it is different, soifter and with the syrup is very good. Peruvian Ceviche/Cebiche is a delicious dish, like many others.delicacy dishes from there.

29. Lima has great temperate weather because of the Humbolt or Perú current, which brings ice cold water from the south, and the Andes mountains which block the warm winds from the amazon. So even though its northern than Rio, its closer to the equator, so it should be much warmer, however, its not. Coastal Peru has the best secret climate in the world, Mediterranean climate seems extreme by comparison.

33. Inca Kola IMO tastes like bubble gum. There is a soft drink called Big Red in the US that tastes similar. Obviously Big Red is red, and Inca Kola has that radioactive slime coloration.
