  1. Samsung electronics might be ok but they build crappy appliances. Our Samsung microwave lasted one month past the warranty. Our Samsung fridge ice maker became a solid block of ice inside and won't dispense. We ended up getting a cheap countertop ice maker.

  2. We owned a Samsung refrigerator with three repairmen coming out to "fix" the fridge. The icemaker kept freezing over (melting and freezing so no ice would be produced). Eventually the water went behind the back panel and started effecting the compressor/cooling. Samsung refuses to recognize the problem and I refuse to buy another Samsung refrigerator.

  3. Samsung has been taking consumers for granted for years! Their tv's have lights falling off after just a few years. Their tablets buttons break early after purchase etc. Enough, enough! I do not buy samsung products any more after my blu ray system went crazy and samsung does not know how to fix it!

  4. I have to defrost my Samsung icemaker in my Samsung Refrigerator once a week so it can make ice. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance again. Home Depot even told me that SAMSUNG is the worst appliance maker. I bought a new Washer/Dryer 5 years ago, they worked perfectly, then the dryer died exactly 4 years and 11 months. The washing machine died at 5 years and 1 week. $1,500 dollars and all I get is 5 years? I just bought a washer/dryer from GE, lets see how long they last.

  5. I have an older model that turns off if either door is slightly ajar (so slightly it is not detectable from the outside). You can't tell when they are open. They look closed but are apparently not closed tight. Both the refrigerator and freezer shut off when this happens to either door. It is a terrible design. My Kitchenaid keeps running when the door is wide open. Why does Samsung have to shut off completely when it is slightly open? This causes the food to spoil if it is not caught in time.

  6. We had a Samsung refrigerator that had multiple repair calls, JUST shy of Best Buy replacing it! It died about a year – abd 1/2 after the service contract ran out (one of the very few times I bought a service contract; in this case, it was a wise decision!). Junked it after tha last failure; in the meantime, we have an old Frigidaire which is probably 40 years old still working!

I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance!

  7. Purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2020 have had nothing but problems Samsung customer service gave me the total runaround finally after numerous complaints they sent a factory service technician to the house all he did was take pictures then he blamed the issue on me and my wife Samsung sucks don’t buy any of there products

  8. Samsung refrigerator, nothing but problems from icing up around the cooling coil, hearing the fan as it hits the ice with every blade to ice in the refrigerator bottom so the deli meat tray will not pull out. SAMSUNG JUST STAY IN THE TV BUSINESS, the rest is not for you! I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE EVER AGAIN!

  9. Samsung makes tvs.. and stereos… not fridges and washers dryers… stick to whirlpool Amana general electric that go way back on fridges

  10. Well the touchscreen works right? That's all consumers are concerned about is technology instead of a basic appliance that is designed to do a specific job. Those customers can use the Wifi enabled touchscreen to look up food poisoning from unrefrigerated food.

  11. My godmother has the same refrigerator and is having the same problem, she acquired it with her new house and yes Samsung has known about this for many years and an entire segment was done on their products. I've owned 2 Kenmore refrigerators now made by Frigidaire and have never had a problem with them, a tenant ruined one of them but it wasn't the company's fault, I have a Frigidaire in my condo and I'm pretty sure the ting is 20 years old.
