That's a good looking dog, glad she has a home. I think these dogs being dumped like this should be chipped so you know who NOT give a dog to. Don't they have shelters in this area so people who can no longer care for an animal can drop off the pet, no questions asked? I think screening of potential owners is very important otherwise all of this work is futile.

My mom tries to do this, but winds up just keeping almost every dog she gets and has had as many as 8 dogs…none of which are trained 🙁
