Great video! About to tackle this on my 15 charger this week. That YouTube algo does wonders soemtimes
lovely video.
Great teaching video using mistake tactics 101. Thank you for the information
Love it!! A how NOT to video for all those that learn the hard way great video very entertaining and educational haha
Just put a vertical jack or pipe jack under the rotor. It’ll hold all that outer weight.
A one man destruction crew. I think I have seen your brothers doing this in real life.
Just use some zip ties to hold that spring tight
Thank you so much. A lot of not to dos. Great video.

A how-to video that is as important to R&R of automotive parts to illustrate what NOT to do! For someone attempting to tackle a new to them repair, this video is just what the doctor (get it) ordered. I've replaced strut assemblies before, but this was very enlightening, notably when I've myself have done some of these mistakes in the past. I can see how valuable this is for the first timers. Nice if there were more of these 'NOT TO DO' video along with the 'HOW TOOs'. Well done and entertaining.
This is so good. Most video just makes it seem so easy but it's not.
Great how too and not too video. Thank You!
Very good!
Started investing money into tools , and did my first major job the shocks lower and upper control arms , I didn’t know about the axel and I let the axel drop , I ripped the boot and I said fuck it it shouldn’t be a big issue , next thing I see 3 bearing start coming out the axel , as a man bro I felt defeated … but hey that’s how we learn
My daddy is asking when he will finally be able to pick up his white Toyota from your workshop after checking the oil level…?
Fantastic! Thanks! 🎸😄
😢
….WHERE IS THIS ASYLUM ??
there is a socket specifically for that allen bolt. Autozone lets you borrow it even in some cities.
Fact on jacking uo the car with a floor jack ive got a car with a jack hole in the floor pan and who ever did it half assed fixed it.
Its ok on that car, you put a big gaping hole in the floorpan. Itll be ok. No one will see it.
Ouch, thats gonna hurt.
What occurs to me with the quick struts is that you've then got to dispose of the old bomb. Hopefully there's a safe way to discard them.
Nice video 😮😮😅😊😊😊
How can you destroy a Toyota?
Lol after replacing my from strut abs and traction light popping in my dashboard 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the exspecially good video, a good reminder of where to be careful.
I like living enough that I spent the extra money to buy the entire strut assembly the one time I did it myself.
I love the way this dude trashed a car so we don't have to! 😅
Hard to watch, but great tips 🙂
Please discontinue your blasphemous dialog directed towards JESUS CHRIST.
Awesome Video. Thanks!
Problem is, the sway bar link stud allen hole always strips so I always buy sway bar links with my struts because I wind up cutting them off usually.
Yeah, using that cheap spring compressing tool was scary when I replaced only the bearing plates. Then after all that effort one of the springs broke 3 months later as I pulled into my driveway.
I knew this would be a fun video when you put your jack through the floor board
Thanks! Cringe content is entertaining and educational! That Yoda has another half million miles to go.
Now that's the definition of a beater car, cause it sure got beat on 😅
be ready to change that CV axle because in my experiance 80-90% of the time it Galls up the threads messing up the axle.
Complete I'm replacing all 4
Excellent video, first time I've ever seen demonstrated a sequence of [potential] mistakes for a specific job. It's a great teaching method for all of us and for any manual tasks, so effective. And of course some of these errors resonated personally – for obvious reasons – and I have the scars to prove. Kit [England]
Guy. It's not a veRhicle 😂😂😂
I over tighten my strud mount
And hearing the gulp noise
How to tell if I'll need new ones
Very edutaining
Unfortunately some of us have cars that don’t have full assemblies available and gotta rebuild them ourselves :/ thanks for showing us how to safely do this job!
And given that you are changing the struts, why not to buy a whole damn new car?
