  1. I swear I thought you said “against the Bengals prostate rival” instead of “cross-state.”

I was wrong. You said it correctly. And I was sadly disappointed.

  2. The Chiefs should have kneeled down on 4th down. Sounds stupid right? But it makes sense.
A Lions first down no matter where the ball is and the game is over.
If Lions don’t get 10 yards and 3 downs; the Lions either go for it or kick for 3. With a field goal or a failed 4th down conversion; Chiefs get ball with 1:15 ish left are down either 1 or 4.
Even with crap receivers, Mahomes can get the ball down the field maybe.

  3. I'm a Dolphin Fan so this week was great for me, but not so great For Arron Rogers. That sucked as I was anticipating an Arron Vs. Tua duel twice this season A speedy recovery!
But, WTH happened To Josh Allen?!?!?!?
As for the Chiefs, Giants, & Steelers, time will tell… I hope!

  4. I think Burrow will turn things around. Just rusty from lack of snaps. Danny Dimes? Well, he should change his nickname to Danny Debt. 😂

  5. Start busting out your nets and devils gear fans of the giants cause it’s gonna be a long season. Not long like making playoffs and having a run long but painfully waiting for each game to end.

  6. As a packers fanâ€Ļ it looks like from my childhood to my mid 40s has been and will be covered with good qb play. Adios Aaron you served us well definitely deserved another ring in Green Bay he’s the goat. Now you gotta play for the Vikings and rip off poor people in Mississippi and your legacy is complete.

  7. Lots looked stage. Just to cover the spread. Loved the mocking commercials of the staging. Unhopeful intelligence overcame emotion. Injuries are covered up more. Replays of garbage. Even staged ones were fake. Yes, those are staged too. Give superstars rest, improve longevity on contract. They get their teeth fixed, do interviews. It's a joke. People can't be this dumb.

  8. I gotta disagree with what you said about the Chiefs going on 4th and 20/25, there was only 2:09 left in the game and they have the best qb in the league. Whether they fail to convert or punt it away, the Lions could basically win by getting a first down either way, so the only incentive to punt would be field position, meaning the risk didn't outweigh the potential benefit of a conversion in my opinion. Of course, it didn't work, but I think it was the right call.

  9. Many problems with #5 on this list:
    1. The play worked. Mahomes hit Moore in the hands while he was beyond the 1st down marker. The fact that Moore dropped the ball doesn't make the play a mistake by the Chiefs, it was the right call that just didn't work out. If you could guarantee a 4th down conversion, assuming a receiver catches a ball that hits both hands, you should take that chance EVERY TIME.
    2. The Lions had already proven they couldn't be stopped. The previous drive the Lions used up 9 minutes running the ball down the Chiefs throat and getting first downs. 3 timeouts and and a two-minute warning can't replace a gassed defense without Chris Jones.
    3. The field position didn't matter. With the Lions leading they didn't need to score. Punt it to them on their 20 or give it to them on your 40, all they're going to do is get 2 first downs and kneel it out. Which is exactly what they did.
    4. Since field position didn't matter, going for it only cost the Chiefs the two-minute warning and it almost didn't cost them that. The play stopped at exactly 2:00. Had the play ended 1 second sooner they wouldn't have lost even that. They still had all 3 time outs and couldn't stop the Lions, the two-minute warning wouldn't have mattered.
    5. Finally, punting to the Lions is more dangerous than going for it on fourth down with Mahomes. The Lions are a dangerous return team. The Chiefs are the best down-in-the-fourth-quarter team in history. Why would you give up your greatest strength to play into your opponent's strength?

  10. Note on that game winning return by Xavier Gipson:

65 yard walk off punt return touchdown at MetLife Stadium during a game that Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were broadcasting

I honestly wonder if Five got PTSD from DeSean Jackson
