Aviation investigator recounts tragic Swissair 111 crash on 25th anniversary

Twenty-five years after Swissair Flight 111 crashed near Peggys Cove, N.S., killing all 229 passengers and crew on board, loved ones of victims and first responders gathered in Nova Scotia this weekend to mark the sombre occasion. ‘It brought emotions up in me that have been underneath for all these years,’ Larry Vance, who was a deputy investigator for the Transportation Safety Board on Swissair 111, said.
