🔖Video Story: This woman named Amber found this adorable baby deer lost and looking for her mom. The fawn approached her thinking it was her mother. As she saw that the fawn could barely stand, she knew it was very young. Knowing the fawn was left alone while the mother was out for the day gathering food. Moments after, the fawn had wobbled away from sight likely to look for its mother. During the night, Amber couldn’t sleep as she thought about the baby deer. She ended up finding the fawn sleeping on a rock in the dark of night. Knowing the fawn was without its mother and in need of help, they took it in and fed it milk using a glove. In the morning, they came in contact with a local rescue organization and handed the fawn off. The fawn was raised on a farm for several months and is now back in the wild where it is happy and free.

  1. If you find a fawn, leave it, do not touch it, its mother placed it there and will come back. BUT if a fawn seeks you, it probably lost its mother.

  2. No the fawn was not looking for mom. Mom leaves them to go feed & unless killed by a predator or car. Will come back for it. Plus the saying of don't touch a baby wild creature mom will abandon it is 100% false.

  3. What insane accurate b*******. The mother is not out gathering food for the day, that is not how dear operate.

  4. Its important that if you find any baby animal that you don't feed it cows milk. It can kill them bc wild animals are lactose intolerant. Goats milk is best until you get the milk replacer.

I'm not trying to be a smart a$$, I'm just sharing info that I have learned over the yrs. from watching wildlife videos. Thank you and good luck if you ever find a baby animal.
