  1. I went on the tower of terror at Disney with some friends. I was the appropriate height but underweight for my age. I slipped out of the seat belt halfway through and by the end i ended up sitting ontop of it. My friends literally had to hold onto me to keep me from flying off. Still have nightmares.

  2. Everyone acting like its the ride operators faults when most of them insisted she was not big enough. Facts are her parents are to blame. They are the Ones responsible for her. PERIOD. dont even matter what you say about the ride itself or those in charge of the ride. Her parents pushed her going on the ride by entitlement. God forbid you hurt your kids feelings these days though. Smh its a shame the entire situation could of been avoided in many ways . But the bottom line is the only people truly responsible for her are her parents/guardians who let her on that ride to begin with. You meed to go through life always onowing your children are your responsibility its not the worlds responsibility. May not be the vest scenario and sure it wpuld be nice if everyone cared about others but thats not real life. They are paying for their choice now unfortunately. I hope she was knocked unconscious from jump and didnt suffer.

  3. that's the same ride as scrambler from the 80's. they didn't have seat belts in the 80's when I was a kid, only the lapbar. RIP hailey

  4. Bless Her Heart. 💜. Prayers for the Family. 🎚. The Little Boy that tried to Help her is A Hero. I Sincerely Hope he gets any help he may need. ❤

  5. NOT THE FIRS TIME. i was on one and swore i was gonna fall off and go flying I was with J my cousin and A my little sister I was the middle weight.him bit over her a bit under. they had so much fun I was DYING cause the seat did NOT feel secure. I was holding on for life.

Only ride I felt safe on was the GRAVATRON/STARBUSTER. a cyclotron like ride where it was SEEMING stationary in centre at the operators command booth (DUDE MOVED LIKE HE WAS STANDING STILL. ) and its outside worked to spin to mimic the centrifuge of astronauts. it was the most popular ride ever every year to date at our county fair LINES FOR A MILE!. The weirdest thing is it was so safe the operators could STEP OUTSIDE THE COMMAND POD. AND JUST STAND ON THE SPINNER DECK LIKE IT WAS NOTHING. and there was NO seat belts. So they would Hold CONTESTS. like. IF YOU CAN DO SIT UPS YOU GET TO STAY ON TO RIDE FREE. or anyone who can FLIP FROM RIGHT SIDE TO UPSIDE DOWN AND BACK got a 5 buck games token pass. OR even the most dangerous. ANYONE who could risk leaping TO THE CONDUCTOR CENTER BOOTH and HANG ON TO IT AS THEY SPINNED LIKE IN FREEFALL OF ENTRY, was given a pass for all things food games rides all covered. Something about my understanding of physics made me consider this giant spinning centrifugal top to be the safest ride. it wasnt. BUT DAMN I LOVED IT! I think the center booth moved AS fast but being center and in control given weight it prob wasnt as disorenting in center and hence why well we spun in looked like it was standing still./….. If anyone has been on a GRAVITRON. please help me understand this fking physics bullshit.

  6. RIP, little lady. You sounded like the world would've been your oyster. Now, I hope heaven is. I'm so sorry for your parents; i can't imagine what they're going through.

  7. My heart broke 😢 my damn heart broke, the suffer to wich she (don't know if she know anything) her family goes through is the living hell, I'm so sorry, this beautiful girl, I cant stop crying

  8. I never trust these rides and always get nervous watching my nieces. I don’t think the workers paid much attention as they were only volunteering & didn’t stop the ride when she 1st fell out. Hope the parents eventually win the lawsuit and can move on

  9. There has to be more to this story I’ve been on the same exact sort of ride and even if u slip there’s 3 bars u put your feet on if u slip down it’s impossible to fall off one of these

  10. Do crime YouTubes get permission from the families to cover the stories???. Cause if you're getting paid from the videos and haven't consented with the families, that's not cool at all.

  11. I almost died on a carnival ride when I was 8. It was a Viking ship that swung up in vertical circular motion. I was too small for the ride but the operator didn’t stop me from getting on. The ship swung to the top and I was ok, but as it came down I slipped under the bar and my legs were hanging out of the ride. Luckily my mother was with me and she immediately grabbed me and held me. The momentum of the ride prevented her from pulling me back into it but she had a good grip and held me until the ride had stopped. If I had gotten on without her I probably wouldn’t be here to tell this story. I’m 40 now and still refuse to get on ANY carnival rides. I’ll enjoy the safety of the carousel thank you very much!😂

  12. Ya super intelligent. Told u cant ride a ride cause ur too small… does not believe and fights to get on… proceeds to die. Well we have signs saying u must be this tall for a reason.

  13. Why does someone… usually a child… have to die before these people who run these parks/festivals listen to recommendations from the manufacturers, engineers, safety inspectors, etc.? I bet they didn't install seat belts because they were cheap asses who will do anything to save a buck! I don't think the manufacturer should be sued though because they kept telling the people running the thing… and more than once… that they need to install seat belts. It seems like the manufacturer did everything they could to keep this from happening… IF they really did what they claim. The entire liability IMO rests on the shoulders of the people who were responsible for NOT installing the seat belts and on that ride supervisor who overruled the ride operator that thought she didn't meet the height requirement to get on. I mean why did that person decide it was worth the risk of Hailey's life if there were ANY doubts about her safety on that ride? Where I live we used to have a carnival/fair that would set up in the huge parking lot of a shopping center. And they had a ride exactly like the Xtreme Sizzler but just a different name. I can attest to the power of the thing! It can be actually painful to a kid, like I was when I rode it. But it was due to the extreme centrifugal force that the ride generates. I'm surprised that that didn't keep her in the car because it threw me against the side of the car and kept me plastered against it, and I wasn't much older than Hailey and like her I was petite, even for my age. RIP baby girl. And much prayers for healing and peace for her family. 🕊️

  14. See i remember that ride and kids had to ride in between two adults, and even then your gonna be pulled under the bar if your tall and scrawny.

  15. I worked at a county fair for like 8 years on grounds crew. I saw the rides arrive and get built within a few hours. I got my tattoo artist free tickets for his family and i told him "DO NOT let your kids get on any rides". Shit like this is why

  16. My mom used to be a ride operator at a theme park during the summer when she was in college. She said she used be super strict about the height and weight restrictions and had quite a few kids kicked out of line because they were too short

  17. I almost lost my daughter on a similar fairground ride in the uk in the 90s…it was terrifying! I still have nightmares about it. There was no real safety bars, just one across the lap, no side bars etc. I thought the guy operating the ride would see she'd slipped under the bar, but he didn't, and set the ride to go faster! It took all my strength to hold onto her, and another kid that was with me! Very scary!

  18. I never allowed my kids to ride carnival rides and I never did. I explained to them that rides that come on a truck and are repeatedly disassembled and reassembled have parts that wear out from that process and I couldn’t justify riding them. Just watch the mechanics of the ride as it operates and you can easily see misalignment of driveshafts and pulleys driving them, so what else is wrong??Add to that a constantly rotating crew of operators and it’s a disaster in the making. We happily attended many established amusement parks and rode many permanent rides with at least some feeling of safety.
This is a terrible story and no matter who is deemed responsible it will not change the facts. Very sad.
