1. Hi, I am living in Germany and I felt so sad that I couldn't actually help you…only praying for you and all the dogs in your home and elsewhere. I think you are a wonderful person and you are doing such a wonderful job. everybody has the right to panic when it is a matter of life and death of a loved one!

2. Thank you for sharing! I miss my dog so much and your emotion has made me want her back. Personally, im not well enough to take care of her. This had made me miss the connection of a dog/companion and their person. May GOD bless you abundantly for all your work and the love you have for your animals.

   But are you autistic? Or have you ever thought you may be?

   I am Autistic with ADHD and I have many friends who are also autistic, or have ADHD and some who are dyslexic and dyspraxic who are also similar in this way.

   To many us, honesty is the only way to be. It feels authentic, healthy and so much healthier. We also tend to have a well developed sense of morals and social justice eg. “Good will always prevail”.

   It’s none of my business if you don’t wish to share!

   But I also feel like sharing our neurodevelopmental status publicly can help further social acceptance, appreciation and general support for all humans. And someone as well loved as you could really help that if you felt safe to do so (and are actually Neurodiverse).

   Either way, you are a truly wonderful human. Please keep being yourself and keep sharing your rescue love.

4. I don't think you did anything you need to apologize for anybody would have been terrified in that situation. Personally I don't know how you deal with all the heartache. It's awful to lose a part of your family something you never get over completely. My baby passed away a year and 10months ago and it feels like yesterday the pain is still there. Please again you need not apologize for being a worried about your babies

5. It is utterly reassuring, Lee, to know that you have regular human feelings/responses/ups/downs like the rest of us regular humans. It is reassuring and also motivating because it makes the wonderful stuff you do believable that other regular humans have the potential to do such wonderful stuff too.

It happened and still happening in part of asia where i live….my cats all passed away and i had not only one or two….but around 15 cats….i just watched lee's videos and it hit me double time….i lost them all in few days only…i raised and took carr of them each so they grew beautiful handsome and healthy…and the best is they were all happy…but then in a blink of an eye…i lost them all…thy signs were the same…lost appetite…lil cough…and hard breathing…but it was all happened in sudden…real fast…as i still am confuse until today bcoz we got no official cause explaination yet. And it happened not only with my cats but many others too in different island/ province of my country. I hope we get the answer soon and i cant wait to hear the news from u, lee. Be strong…u still have them alive….mine are all gone. So i do understand ur mourning as im still too bcoz it happened with me just last week. To everyone where ever u r, PLEASE love and real take care of ur beloved fur kids…they really need ur awareness in this moment. Im not trying to build a panic issue…but i only share my experienced and what happen in my place.

27. You are human and as such you have emotions. You provide so much information to so many so thank you so much. In Australia as it is coming into the warmer months, paralysis ticks are already coming out. If you're in Australia please PLEASE check your dogs, cats, any pets each and every day for ticks. And the best way to get the tick out intact, head and body, is to get a little tick remover which you can get from any pet store. I went through a terrible experience almost losing my then little girl (about 30 years ago). She was walking up the stairs and suddenly collapsed. We rushed her to the vet, luckily in time to save her life. That scared the coconuts off me and I will NEVER let a furry friend go unprotected during tick season. There are a variety of treatments to choose from so please, for Dog's sake make sure you do everything to protect you fur babies during Spring and Summer. Paralysis ticks ARE deadly. Thank you Lee for all your updates and I hope that you, your team and of course your furry friends are all getting better and safe. Peace and Love from Australia

33. I don't think you should be apologizing for natural human responses. I understand maybe it was delivery but people also need to control their reactions. I am so glad everything is turning out well. Thank you for clearing up "rumors" though you post enough information that I wouldn't believe anyone except YOU.

34. Hello Lee, We deeply appreciate your updates. Our beloved 3.5 y old husky girl (county rescue) passed away last year in July in FL, under similar circumstances. We feel your frustration and helplessness as we still feel sad and heartbroken by this incident. She had idiopathic epilepsy and we thought this was aspirational pneumonia due to a seizure. However, things did not add up and she collapsed pretty fast, although our darling Mimi was a fighter. She was in ER for 6 days! Euthanasia was the only option as oxygen tanks did not help and she continued gasping for breath. One year later, we still don’t know what happened. My husband and I , her daycare person, and her ER doctor, all of us cried together. A lot of hearts broke that day for her. We are hoping u Will get the answer, bcoz that may bring some closure to our family. Thanks for everything u do for these wonderful souls!

39. I think humans were also getting respiratory infections. This probably transferred to dogs. I'm on the East Coast and about a month ago, I developed a nasty cough for a few weeks. I thought it was from the Canadian wild fires blowing toxic smoke our way, but I had neighbors that developed respiratory infections weeks prior.

It is good we received the news at real time, this way we get a play by play of what Is happening. Thank you for that because news change like the weather. 43. Lessons learnt, Lee and ya know what, the fact that the local shelters and rescue centres thanked you for being so open and honest has probably done a whole lot of good out in the community. Perhaps now they'll know that it's okay to ask for help if they need it too.
    Haters will always hate. The press/media will always press/media ❤
    All you can do is concentrate on providing your dogs with the best of everything as you have been for years.
    Have you checked in with your doctor recently, you sound so wheezy/ chesty.
