On Saturday the 28th of June 2008 a group day out for Oakey Springs Baptist church at The Six Flags Georgia resort ended in tragedy when 17 year old Asia Leeshawn Ferguson ignored warning signs and climbed into a restricted area of the park underneath the Batman Rollercoaster leading to deadly consequences. What transpired after Asia entered the restricted zone would go down in Six flags history as being one of the worst cases of death within their parks. So what happened on that fateful day, this is the infamous story of the batman rollercoaster incident.

I hate that u use the word imfamous for these tragedies. I associate imfamous with murderers, and other wicked ppl like rapists, and violent ppl, not victims of tragedy. This is just how i feel. And where my foes when hearing and using the word.

It was an incredibly bad decision that no one will be able to grasp why aside from maybe the friend who was with him. I still think its dumb of peopel to chalk it up to teenagers just doing dumb things. Don't think anyone should let this be expected behaviors or decisions for teenagers to make. That jsut shows a very very very low opinion of a teenager in my personal opinion.

Usually at parks with Rollercoasters the deaths are pretty brutal. Decapitation isn't a rare thing.
“He was unresponsive and they confirmed he had died”….. ummm I mean his head being separated from his body was a clear indication.
I'm guessing he was unresponsive if his head was missing.

There is a 6 Flags near Los Angeles. There were so many deaths and injuries there that it became known as Six Stabs Tragic Mountain

Parents, please teach your children critical thinking and reasoning skills.
Especially nowadays, with social media enticement, far too many children, and people in general, get harmed because they act without thinking.
