  1. Florio continues his weird brag about his streak. I’ve noticed he brags about all these weird things like he’s compensating for being a nerdy dweeb his whole life

  2. Last season Herbert was injured with torn rib cartilage and 11 of the top 15 players were either injured for most of the season or all of the season. At one point they were the #1 most injured team in the league.
So you say “something is missing” with Herbert? What is it exactly? The guy threw for more yards in his first season than anyone in league history, and after 2 seasons he had more passing yards than anyone but Brady. Last season he was injured and most of the best players were injured as i pointed out already, and he still threw for more than 4000 yards.
You say he is the quiet type and isn’t willing to speak up when he sees a roster deficiency. What deficiency was there to complain about? The Chargers spent a ton of money fixing their O-Line and paying guys like Mike Williams and Keenan Allen, and they already had guys like Austin Ekeler, Josh Palmer, Gerald Everett, and Guyton on the team. Allen and Williams are $20 million receivers, and Ekeler scored 20 touchdowns that season.
The next season, they signed a bunch of defensive linemen, and Mack to go along with Bosa, and Derwin James. Then they signed JC Jackson who was coming off of a year where he had a bunch of interceptions, to go along with Asante Samuel Jr., Michael Davis, and others..
In the draft they chose RaShawn Slater and Zion Williams, plus other players that are helping the team.. and this season they got wide receiver Quinten Johnston to give Herbert yet another weapon!

How they made the playoffs last season was a minor miracle considering all of the injuries, but the team was inspired by Herbert playing through his rib injury, and they never gave up on Staley.

Yet you make it sound like the Chargers didn’t go after elite players and didn’t give Herbert what he needed to succeed.. REALLY?
Also, you claimed that Herbert is soft, and he just goes along with the program that isn’t good enough., so therefore he is not a short list franchise quarterback? REALLY?

Ask any football analyst if they think Herbert is a top level no doubt franchise quarterback, and 99 out of 100 would say YES… and you are the one outlier!

Please tell me, what more did you want the Chargers to do to maximize Herbert’s chances of winning?

The only thing I can think of is how bad their OC Lombardi was over the last 2 seasons, but they brought in Kellen Moore from the Cowboys who was a top OC the last several seasons, and what’s coming next will take Herbert to the next level.. believe that!

So you can take your horrible assessment of Herbert’s ability to elevate his game to the next level and sit on it, because he is already an elite quarterback who is just as good as Allen & Burrows.. if not better, and this season barring injuries like they had last season, he will blow you away and make what you are saying now seem stupid.

  3. So it FINALLY slips out. The major problem with Matthew Stafford stems from an incident where Reggie Bush wanted a players meeting, and Stafford said no. Was there a PFT article that I missed about this incident? Are we sure that Reggie was doing the right thing considering all circumstances, and Stafford was not? How do we seem know the full truth here, Mike?

  4. Slavery ended over 150 years ago but Clarence still has no problem with being owned by a rich white man.

  5. It funny you act like everyone cares where you are or that you would think a disguise is needed. Come on bro upgrade your Camera and get rid of the bright colored lights that blast in our eyes if we try to watch the video. Ty

  6. Over and over youve repeated how this is a non political show, especially when it apploea to topics that clash with your poltiical view. Youce said this is an escape from politics.
But when theres sonething that aligns with your politcial vuew and you can put that rule to the side, you take your shot, and disguise it as a comparison to some nfl topic.

You do exactly as the nfl does with their rules, then criticize when they do it.

I hope the pm posse sticks around. Ive watched this show and subscribed for a long time, but not when it turns into hypocrisy so im out.

  7. Mike. If you're going to talk about our supreme court then please speak on our president and son. 10 million tracked dollars by the IRS directly to family members is beyond a left/right issue. I love your sports talk and appreciate your knowledge and great and honest reporting work. Please in the future tell both sides of the story. Rule of law is dying and could use everyone 's help. No matter what side you're on. The future generations are going to pay a heavy price for what decisions are made today.

  8. weather or not it is fair to the players is none of your concern. and honestly how do you know whats best for the players? taking less money so he can get a better o line is good for patrick. mike florio has always been a pompass arrogant ass who thinks he knows more than everyone else. he still sucks

  9. ThEreS a sALerY cAp…the chiefs have less room, as of now than any other.."so Hunt can stick more in his pocket" Floirio in an idiot!

  10. Chiefs fans watched this unfold. The Chiefs did not resign Frank Clark even though Chris Jones mounted a social media campaign to do so. When Frank Clark signed somewhere else, Chris Jones decided to ramp up his demands.

  11. So are you going to rip the wise Latina for her staff forcing universities and libraries to buy her books to get her to make speeches?

  12. I tuned in to listen to your sports views etc., not to listen to you bring up political issues that you might not agree with…..way too much time on this!

  13. We’re you talking about Brady and Patriots for the 20 years he was the goat? Why is this a story? They already publically stated they know he’s underpaid.
