That’s fantastic! They did the right thing. Reminds me of the time my stepdad and I found an osprey in a field with fishing line wrapped around one wing and a hook through one of his legs. My stepdad was able to clip the end of the hook so I could remove it without causing too much damage. We got the line off of his wing and let him go! It was surreal.
