6 months ago I rescued a dog that was abandoned at the shelter for 4 months. Same situation everyone just passed him by. I recently put my dog down and wasn't looking for another one but had to free him from jail. So far he is very close to perfect.

If anyone has any spare time, fill out the forms to volunteer at shelters like this. I do it to spend time with the animals, take walks and give them some love. It's helps while waiting to be adopted.

i grew up and love big dogs. sadly itโs very hard to rent an apartment or house that will take a big โscaryโ dog. glad he got adopted! What a gorgeous dog!

Why do these dogs need to be in prison
You do know that dogs are packs
So they need eachother instead of being alone in this freaking cageprison
Do the same as Takis in Greece
And these dogs will be a lot happier
Or is that too much work?
So this is also abuse and you think thats ok
It seems like Cesar Milan, Dogdaddy,Takisshelter,and Asherhous they at least know really what dogs need and how to thrive
And understand what they need
As long as you still treat dogs like humans they have more issues and enabling kill shelters

I would have been gravitated right to him. He's a sweet boy and you can see it in his eyes. It's so sad to see these loyal friends locked up like violent criminals, while they are guilty of no crime except for being too cute.
I am 63, and have rescued and adopted cats and dogs all my life. I have two alpha females I keep separated, because they would kill each other if i did not. They are both going on seven. When they pass, i will look for that overlooked dog. โค
