Number 15: Lions
Lions often choose to hunt in packs known as prides, quite unlike solitary hunters like jaguars or leopards.
A group of lions spot a cheetah resting in the open savanna and quickly charge towards it. Despite the cheetah’s attempt to outrun them, the lions had quite the head start and quickly caught up, with one pouncing on the cheetah, delivering a deadly bite to its neck, swiftly killing it.
Young male lions often have to leave their pride to establish their own territory.
A nomadic young male lion tries to seek out a territory, but unfortunately for him, he encounters 3 dominant male lions already established in the area. The newcomer puts up a fight, valiantly fighting back the aggressors and even managing to drive them away a few times, but being outnumbered and attacked from all sides, the young male lion never stood a chance.
Like most members of the Felidae family, lions are often known to ambush their prey.

A peaceful buffalo is suddenly ambushed by an angry elephant, which proceeds to skewer the buffalo with its sharp tusks and trample it mercilessly. Despite the buffalo’s efforts to run away, the massive strength and aggression of the elephant is like an unstoppable force leading to the buffalo’s demise.
Elephants are known to be fiercely protective of their territory, and will fight off any predators that happen to cross their territory.
In this dramatic clip, a powerful elephant approaches a rhino and her baby at a local waterhole. The elephant is clearly agitated and starts to charge towards the rhino and her baby, aggressively pushing them aside with its massive tusks. The rhino tries to defend her offspring, but ends up running away to ensure their own safety.

The sloth bear, native to India, is known for its aggression towards humans and is considered one of the most dangerous animals in the country.
A sloth bear and a tiger can be seen engaged in a brutal fight. Despite being smaller and seemingly outmatched, the sloth bear puts up an incredible fight, fiercely attacking the tiger with its sharp claws and powerful jaws. In the end, the sloth bear proves to be the victor, driving the tiger away and defending itself with remarkable courage and strength.
Brown bears are territorial animals, and they often engage in intense fights with other bears to establish dominance and claim a particular area as their own.
