unfortunately, in the fight last night there was an injured lion cup and its name is junior. a wild buffalo kick broke the cub’s pelvis leaving its hind legs unable to move. it has become crippled and can only use its two front legs to move. despite the pain caused by the injury junior did not give up. sometimes cubs have to move through difficult terrain to keep up with their pride. junior struggled with this groaning body he struggled to lift himself up the cliffs. junior’s siblings wanted to support but couldn’t be very helpful. it is resilient in the midst of the fierce wilderness of Africa.
