Caring for newborn puppies, who lost their mom it’s not an easy task. After they drink the bottle you need to stimulate them so they can use the washroom. You can do so with a damp rag in between the legs and on the bottom, I found that the puppies did not like this method . when we got home from the hospital at the Puppies , one of our other pets a two year old toy maltision  instinctively to go over the responsibility of helping to care for the puppies. She helped to stimulate them in order for them to use the washroom. She helped to clean them, by washing them with her mouth.licking all over .  She also helped to keep them warm, and to sooth them when they cried . She was also very helpful when more than one puppies woke up to feed a time. She did a great job of keeping them busy at times she would let them nurse on her, using it as a pacifier. I continue to be amazed, and we consider ourselves very blessed . Please wish baby Havana a very happy three week old birthday. She was the biggest out of all the pups and had no difficulties or struggles . from the start she has been the easiest puppy ever.
