Mayfest 1995 Ft..Worth, we had hail stones as big as softballs. Many people at the festival were injured. It cause millions of dollars in damage. I'll never forget it.
I'm from fort worth and I remember that hail storm. Tornado came right through the Southside of Riverside. Tore the cathedral up.

I live in Oregon and our hail isn’t even slightly damaging because the hail is soooo tiny! I lived in Oregon all my life for 29 years and we never had a damaging hailstorm, so this video shocks me!
Excellent doco. I live in Fort Worth. We had a bigger hailstorm in 1995. It hit when Mayfest was going on, where hundreds of people were by the Trinity River and were caught without any significant shelter. For many years, it was the tenth most expensive storm in US history.

I even rode out a tornado in my tent just last August 2022…. it came quick and was gone quick i was in st onge town of 98 people in someones yard sleeping in my tent and woke up to tree branches falling and thunder… i got out the tent the clouds were crazy low right on me i think it was just forming but my phone went off ..tornado in my area it was vibrating…..ya ..no crap… i got low in a shed just waited it was so windy

If I'm not mistaken, an episode of the reality TV show Full Throttle was made during the South Dakota hailstorm, for the episode mentioned large hailstones destroying cars, and even doing damage to the bar itself.
When I first moved to Colorado in 2017 I kept reporting my permanent address as Alabama because the insurance rates in Colorado are much higher due to hail as a main reason, but eventually they told me they knew I lived in co about 2 years later so now I have to pay more money

I lived in Denver when the epic hail storm of 2017 hit. I was on my way home from school on the school bus, and we literally had to pull over the school bus because the windows were cracking. you literally could hear the hailstones slamming into the roof and it sounded like people pelting the roof and windows with baseballs. I still have a video from that day, and my grandma’s car got totally ruined because she was waiting pick my sister up from her school.

in April 14 2020, i lived in dhaka bangladesh. at 8:00 am, i saw the windows and the weather is dark. there is a thunder, storm and hailstorm. my friend later came to our house. at 11:00 the storm stopped and thunder is still happening. then i go outside and the weather has so cold.
