WATCH LIVE: Killer Cop Retrial - OH v. Andrew Mitchell - Day One
Spread The Viralist

Former Columbus police vice squad officer Andrew Mitchell was indicted on murder and voluntary manslaughter charges for the death of 23-year-old Donna Castleberry. Mitchell went to trial in the spring of 2022, but in April, a judge declared a mistrial because jurors couldn’t reach a unanimous verdict. On the night Castleberry was killed, Mitchell allegedly picked her up in an unmarked police car during an undercover prostitution sting. Mitchell claims Castleberry stabbed him, so he shot her out of self defense. However, during the first trial, prosecutors said that she was shot in the back of Mitchell’s car while attempting to escape.

  1. Andrew was trained in self defense he is what 6'2" about 235lbs but like a gorilla against a 5'2" 130lb woman , self defense BS!

  2. The defense attorney is so irritating. I don't think I'll be able to stand watching the remainder of the case when the prosecution rests. She's way too aggressive, a bit like her client.

  3. Sad case , the defense were a 10 out of 10 on opening statement, unless i hear new evidence no way i could convict, she was under arrest and pulled a knife and used it, not good!

  4. The moment he stepped out of vehicle and had her at gunpoint, he was in control and the threat had been minimized. He had an obligation to reasses at that time, he didn't, he just fired. Guilty.

  5. Pd should know better than anyone the dangers and fears these women face. If this had been a kidnapper etc they would have said she did everything right. No excuse for not being able to have proper id!

  6. I am watching this "retrial," which is shocking in itself; a "retrial" – the "audio" speak volumes; so far, I think he had something else in mind (if you know what I mean), especially the way he parked the undercover car – and in my opinion when she rolled down the window and yelled for help. We heard her say, "Get your hands off of me!" His plan failed, and his "ego" was "BRUISED" – she defended herself (I would have, too, as there was no way out).
Anyone would have questions about whether he was a cop – he knew he had to send a few texts to other officers (supposedly, he needed backup, right? He had the upper hand, was a skilled officer, and his weight alone against her weight was a no brainer) because he knew he was going to kill her- I think he thought he was going to get a service for free – and shot her (overkill).
Interestingly, the retired police officer who took the stand yesterday said she knew him and would not "lie" for him. I would not expect an officer to make such a statement unless she knew him to twist the truth in the past. And I found it most interesting that she could remove his watch or bracelet with blood on it from the CRIME scene and return it to his family -who does that? Why wasn't she questioned about that…hmmm?
I will continue to watch and pray for justice for Miss Castleberry; no matter what work she chose, she was human!❤🙏❤️

  7. I think we all need to agree that if people don’t break the law commit crimes etc. we really wouldn’t have a need for police now would we?

  8. How was she supposed to know he was a cop if he didn’t have a badge? That is literally the proof to let citizens know who you are. Maybe not walk around with it but at least somewhere in the car to show when necessary to arrest her. How are we supposed to know the difference. She was asking someone to call the cops, I don’t think she was afraid of getting arrested!

  9. Hooker no nos
Part 1…Girls ,NEVER get into a car until you do the "Junk Grab" test , a cop wont let you grab his junk, or show you his junk, the lady should demand it.
Part 2. ..Nor will a female sting officer ever get into a car, they will negotiate at the window , give a sign and will not grab your junk., or display a nude breast.the John should demand it.

Junk grabbing is a huge factor in weeding out vice cops…. if you're a John, demand it, if you're a hooker, do it !!!!!
